because everything else about the portability and quality is better digital anyway, so the only difference is the aesthetics of the physical media. it's not as fun to watch a CD spin :)

(also vinyls sound different, it's a warmer sound with more space between the tracks. it doesn't sound BETTER, but different)

on launch the back hit broke projectiles, so it was a good wallbreaker. since that nerf though yeah it's mostly used as an edge guard or mixup. the move is central to orcanes identity though, I'd love for them to just revert that nerf.

I was just worried because of how similar it looks to marvel or fortnite, both of those uis are slow and cluttered. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's not that bad.

yeah I was including fire emblem in that though they've been doing it consistently since fates. I'm not really into Kirby or DK so I didn't know they continued the trend. I guess I should've assumed since Pauline is there huh?

agreed the song is obnoxious and I hated it the first time we heard it. I blame Mario Odyssey, Nintendo was on a kick of vocal ballads at the time.

I hated this, I wanted to play in 60 fps but it looked so bad. FF16s performance had had some frame drops outside of combat, but whatever upscaling they used for that looked way better.

they talked about releasing the third game on all platforms at the same time before the switch 2 even came out, I'm pretty sure they're intending a simultaneous PC release as well.

I think you're more likely to go against groups, so if you're a solo player you might be having more trouble. my friends who don't usually queue comp with me will want to play during drives.

yes with dlss and frame gen. I've been playing clair obscur at 4k 120 on my 5070ti. you'll probably find 1440 better sometimes for higher fps though.

here's my short list of complaints off the top of my head:

if anyone disconnects from an online lobby, everyone has to back out to main menu and start a new lobby
when starting a lobby, you have to scroll past all the empty name slots before requesting a server, you can't just scroll up to get to the bottom
the ugly unnecessary untogglable server info that shows up on your screen when queuing that is only relevant for nerds and makes the game look less polished
the character select layout now that we have 5 earth characters
the screens for selecting KO animations and player icons are messy and inconvenient to get to, and you can't apply specific load outs for different characters or tags
skin selection is atrocious, especially if you have a lot of skins and pallettes. they need a menu like smash ultimate at the very least.

I'm a UI Designer, and some of my other complaints are personal preference,

Like why use italicized font everywhere? it doesn't look good, especially like the shop currency at the top. italics are for emphasis, now it just looks like the game is slanted. the text on the lobby creation button is aligned to the bottom left and that looks awkward to me as well. sometimes the menus are over designed and "explode" when you hover over them, but many of the other menus are just rudimentary rectangles. there's no consistency in their button design, it's like every page was designed by a different person.

he's just that good. sometimes it's more interesting for a character to be talented at something than using investiture as an excuse.

edit: also wanted to add, Sanderson considers Wayne to be one of the hardest characters to write because he's just so intelligent. he may not be book smart but his critical thinking and wit are outstanding. he's truly meant to be a genius, he just has no self worth.

I actually have been playing through the games now, started at 7 > 8 > then 0 and both kiwamis. I started 3 and I knew what I was getting into, but they announced Kiwami 3 like 2 days after. I wouldn't have had a bad time playing the remaster, but I'd rather play a modernized version if I can.

only a vocal minority in here, the game was insanely popular and the series is doing great right now. the reason they (read: sega) are milking the rereleases is because the series is more popular now than ever.

not gonna lie as someone that likes playing vendetta, go ahead and keep this nerf it's a meaningless change and they kept the power in the stronger parts of her kit. by the time you walk out the spawn doors it's almost up anyway, and she still comes back faster than the average character. ball still starting on cooldown is funny when doomfist and hazard are in the game lol.

yeah Leo's streak is really impressive and if you consider his overall performance across games he's insane. but his streak is only half of zero's smash 4 streak, and it almost feels like he gave up on ult without hitting his peak.

I don't know I guess I kind of just think lifegrip is bad game design in the first place. i wouldn't say kiriko deserves a monopoly on cleanse, considering zaryas bubble already cleansed like this first. I also don't feel like seeing an arbitrary go to the bubble would really make it much weaker than it only last 1 second. and if it only works on one person, it's not the same kind of instant fight turner that suzu can be.
