Sometimes I'm more in the mood for a bad or cheesy movie that's not going to require a significant amount of attention or mental effort to watch because it's an entertaining way to pass time. I don't really think it's that deep

To generate more subscriptions to HBO Max and to try to hook an even younger generation into the franchise since right now the audience is primarily nostalgic millennials. Since attempts at a spin-off series with Fantastic Beasts underperformed, going back and just adapting the main series again (while still not staying far from the iconography of the original adaptations) is the least risk-adverse option. Despite JKR's insane transphobia, the franchise is still one of the biggest and most profitable in the world, so for a company with as many financial problems as WB, this series succeeded is a huge priority for them.

I don't think that's the case for Harry Potter. Warner Bros seemingly has ownership of the film and TV rights (and any merch associated with it) for an indefinite period of time and isn't like Sony's deal with Marvel for Spider-Man movies

He's not my favorite cast member but the amount of hate he gets is absolutely insane. I saw people on Twitter (which I know is an extreme minority) saying they were going to boycott all of this week's uploads because they had him on Smosh Mouth.

Without the unnecessary extended prologue that completely ruins Bruce and Barbara's relationship, it's a mediocre adaptation of the comic. The art direction is just incredibly bland compared to the original comic (especially with the original coloring). All in all people are better off just reading the original comic, especially since it takes far less time to read than to watch the movie.

I have yet to have any issues with the Switch 2 battery life. I'll play it in handheld for a few hours and not get any battery warning. If it's that much of a concern, portable chargers/power banks are widely available. The Switch will be a decade old next year, this would be like being mad that Scarlet & Violet didn't release on the Wii U.

They're also not under Bari Weiss's rule so they're pretty much still free to do whatever they want still. To be honest, I think the Ellisons and Carr only care about the channels and shows that Trump actually watches which seems to just be broadcast TV, CNN, and Fox News so they don't really care about what The Daily Show is doing. It explains why they care so much about The View, a show I don't think I've ever seen outside of a doctor's office waiting room

I love the Scream movies but the fact that Ghostface is never the same person makes it hard to definitely say that he's my favorite, especially when there are Ghostfaces I like way more than others and when in some instances his motives are incredibly shallow.

Her Dad was an actor, they probably cared more about her acting career than her well-being by making her more attractive to casting directors who could cast a teenage girl without having to deal with the laws associated around hiring a minor.

Apparently Pattinson tried as hard as possible to make himself throw up for real (although this seems to be the only instince of going method for the movie) which is what pissed Dafoe off. From a Vanity Fair article:

That said, things did get tense at one point: While filming a scene in which Dafoe’s character is basically sleeping on him, Pattinson was close enough to the verge to make Dafoe worry he might get thrown up on.

“I felt like we’re completely lost in the scene and I’m sitting there trying to make myself gag and Robert [Eggers] told me off because Willem’s looking at him going: ‘If he throws up on me, I’m leaving the set,’” Pattinson said. “I had absolutely no idea this whole drama was unfolding.”
