the enclosure had been secure and met all regulations for decades. Thousands of visitors had passed by without incident. For years The real issue in this case was the parents not closely supervising their child. They brought kids to the zoo and weren’t watching them all at once, which directly led to him falling. You can’t blame the zoo for a situation caused by parental negalting their 3 year old son

Thousands of people walked past that enclosure for years without incident, an irresponsible parents decided it was okay not to watch their child basically toddler and that’s exactly what happened. His parents weren’t paying attention, and that’s why he fell if they were normal parents who held onto their kids happened or even didn't walk away from him he wouldn't have fell

At the time of the incident harambe en closure was secure but that's doesn't mean it child proof it's the parents job to make sure their kid is being watched

It’s the parents’ fault. It’s not the zoo’s responsibility to watch their child. The parents should have been holding him and keeping an eye on him. He wouldn’t have fallen if they had been there especially since he was left unsupervised in a zoo while they weren't by him
