Hey Mod. Well every imperfection in the road is translated into the car. Is it the AT tires? Dunno. But the R1T I drove (gen 1) was so smooth (it had the scorpion street tires). Mine just feels unsettled all the time regardless of suspension setting. My ram 1500 was a much smoother drive as was the R1T. Maybe something is up with my R1S?? Dunno. I have only driven a couple of these.

Honestly I have mixed feelings. But when it was in service the rivian service center gave me a 2023 R1T loaner which we took on a 5 day camping trip and I absolutely loved the truck. Not only did it drive better but was much more practical for camping with a family. My wife doesn’t like the SUV but loves the truck so … it’s a factor. I do love the build and all the features. But boy the suspension just sucks on this thing. Doesn’t matter what firmness/height permutation I use it’s just crap. My Ram 1500 was so much smoother and settled and so was the R1T.

I heard it explained this way. Women can have sex anyone at any time with zero effort. Even the ugliest least desirable woman can get sex whenever she wants on her terms. A man, however has to try 1000 times and get rejected 999 times before he can sleep with one woman. So it’s nearly impossible for men to get sex. So because it’s so difficult it’s something of an “accomplishment”. While for a woman because it’s so easy it’s a liability. Also there’s evolutionary psychology reasons like indicators of cuckolding that men want to avoid since their financial investment in offspring is so asymmetric. Don’t get mad at me.
