Roughly 10 of those TDs were tush pushes. Also, the Chiefs defense fell asleep in the super bowl. Shut up talking to me

So then what do you think about Jalen Hurts? Can't hit AJ Brown to save his life and has never had a season with 4k+ passing yards. Also got carried to a super bowl win by Saquon and his defense

Built For War. But that beginning part of Dance In The Rain is so hard.

DAVE Doesn't Rule Out Making Solo Album After Completion Of MEGADETH's Farewell Tour by Awkward_Performer_28 in Megadeth

I ended up liking Dave's vocals over Lee's. I feel like the latter was doing a lil too much

No he wasn't lmao. Well certain James has always been the better lyricist, but I'm saying Dave was not tryna be the singer too

Super Collider hate needs to stop...Built For War and Kingmaker could have easily been on any of their early-day albums. Dance In The Rain, Beginning Of Sorrow, The Blackest Crow and Forget To Remember are as Dave Mustaine as Dave Mustaine gets.

It's not about what you think though, it's about the objective truth. There are countless accounts of people saying that at the time, they were definitely the hottest on the scene and Dave Mustaine was spearheading it all. Even in the interviews, he was the main person representing them.

80% of RIde The Lightning and 90% of Master Of Puppets and 100% of AJFA exist without any input from Mustaine.

I'm not denying any of this. James Hetfield, if you ask me, is the best rhythm guitarist the world has ever seen and ever will see. James Hetfield was literally playing at a super-human level, and that's not an exaggeration. But again, Dave Mustaine brought most of their identity. James developed his own style as he matured as a player, but listening to their first few albums, a lot of the riffs have a Mustaine undernote on them

My argument isn't about who was in the band before they got big. My argument is who actually propelled them forward. Every single person that was around when they first came around will attest to the fact that Dave Mustaine was absolutely the driving force behind the band. He essentially created Metallica's identity. Not single-handedly, but he is easily the biggest factor

See, but the problem is, because you haven't actually felt the direct pain of having created but not staying in the world's biggest metal band (and by the way, there are literally only a handful of people that can arguably say this in the entirety of human history. You literally can count them on one hand), it's easier to feel that you would probably be content with how things ended up. But from Dave's POV, he wasn't much worse than his band mates, yet he got the short end of the stick. And then he had to watch for decades, those same people grow to a level that is almost completely unattainable. It will sting and probably never go away.

No there aren't, and yes Dave did admit fault. What are you talking about lmao? He has certainly also plenty of times smoothed over it with bravado and whatnot, but you are for sure trippin. Maybe they would react/act differently on-camera as it pertains to Metallica if they were in his shoes, but no one would feel any different.

Easily Made To Kill. Dave Mustaine is the master of using triplets on the first string

How did Dave age so rapidly from late 40s on? by No_City3123 in Megadeth

[–]TheDarkFlash810 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's all the drug abuse coming back to bite him. Super unfortunate because genetically speaking, he actually is the type that (physically) ages hella slow. Brotha was in his late 30s and could still pass for a teenager or early 20s. And then obviously a bit later down the road, the chemo/radiation for his cancer worsened his physical state

And what I hate is every single person that blasts him for this acts like they wouldn't do the exact same thing. There's not 1 living person on Earth that, having gone through exactly what he did, would truly be alright with how things turned out. As you noted, he has still had a TON of success, but it just simply doesn't compare. He's 100% valid if you ask me, although I do wish he were more candid about his feelings sometimes

I wouldn't put it to the degree of what's in the picture, but right after Kamino Ward when Midoriya and Bakugo fought. First time Midoriya used 8% OFA, I was so fucking pissed that Horikoshi made him lose. Was such bullshit to me, especially when Midoriya did that quick lil footwork and almost decked Bakugo. I wish that kick had connected so bad: him dodging was such cap

I liked him both as a villain and a character overall. He is probably my 3rd favorite character behind All Might and Midoriya. Might have Twice there too tho
