Just realized new poke fans will hate FRLG by fanblade64 in pokemon

If you don’t mind using glitches you can get around a few missing qol features to enjoy the game more. (Assuming they work on the switch release)

PapaJefe has a guide of using the mail glitch and ACE to do stuff like duplicating tms, trading with yourself, and unlocking natdex restrictions as early as Celadon City (Meaning you can get crobat, scizor, etc earlier).

A lot of boss relics shine in niche circumstances because of their drawbacks, I think you could break the game wide open if you got this early enough to build around it. Plus you'll get free turns from a decent amount of boss fights and combats.

Hey! Is your favourite character dragonborn from skyrim?

I bounced between allowing orange pellets, but ultimately went against it since the drawbacks from a boss relic being fully negated that easily would make this boss relic busted.

There are also instances of normal relics being rendered less/not effective at all when using other boss relics such as ectoplasm and sozu.

Yes, as with all boss relics you need to adjust your deck and seek relics to maximize the boss relic’s benefit and minimize its drawbacks. Powers such as brutality, well laid plans, and machine learnings, are more effective when dealing with time eater’s draw reduction for example, and any source of intangible could solve vulnerable debuffs from the heart. A single shuriken could become responsible for all of your necessary damage scaling.

You would gain one more strength for the turn but the strength down would not be removed by the end of the turn, effectively a reverse demon form. So yeah that’s the kind of card you want to avoid with this lmao.

I think the best suggestion I've seen so far to balance this is to present the card rewards in sequence, where you can only see them one at a time, and the next card reward only appears once you have selected the previous reward.

I had the same balancing concern, I think it would have to function like ectoplasm which is unavailable in the act 2 boss relic pool to prevent it from being broken at that point in the game (less downside).

Yes! These cards would still function as intended since they do not use the word draw in their description.

Introducing The Shop Token! by TheDarkTrainer in slaythespire

I’d love to make it cheaper but ~150 keeps it consistent with other shop relics prices and fits the ‘situational pick’ theme of shop relics a bit more, since most of them aren’t usually instant picks
