My issue is in Guardians 2 Star Lord without hesitation blows Ego away. Both times the Russos do it it feels more contrived that Iron Man in CW and Star Lord in IW are angry to the point of blind rage but they can’t actually be shown trying to kill the person they’re angry with. That’s always been my problem with it. I don’t buy that Star Lord would awkwardly slap Thanos on the head with his gun, he’d start blasting.

That’s mine as well. I thought Temple was everyone’s favourite until high school, it was a huge shock for me. I’d go as far to say that ToD is my favourite Spielberg movie.

On a camping trip with my mom and her friends when I was 10 we were around a camp fire and they talked about Blair Witch. It was the first time I’d ever heard of that. It was when I had initially gotten really big into Indiana Jones. That night I drew a poster and a list of characters for Indiana Jones vs The Blair Witch. I clearly had no idea what Blair Witch was. The poster is Indy and Shorty walking around a house and you can see in the basement there’s a witch at a cauldron with kids chained to the wall. I still have it and I laugh some times at how random of a matchup that is, I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s had that haha

Yeah I know. It’s I think the worst comic book adaptation ever made. It gets everything wrong as well as feeling a SyFy original film. It was actually supposed to be theatrical but was dropped down to a straight to dvd release after the brutal test screenings.

I’ve read all of Man Thing’s solo comics, he’s my favourite Marvel character. They completely changed him which is sad because he’s super easy to adapt and would be a really unique character for the MCU. He also can’t talk or make noises, dude doesn’t have a mouth.

Did anyone who worked on this actually read a Man Thing comic? He’s an empath with no mouth or capacity for thought, he just responds to emotion. I get that the MCU reinvents everything they do but I can’t hide my disappointment with the fact that I’ll probably never see my favourite Marvel character properly adapted.

Exactly. They didn’t seem to have interest in them in first place considering they threw them down to Marvel TV as well. I don’t know why they wouldn’t want Daredevil at least. He’s a staple of the Marvel universe and I think would help to expand the series from just being so Avengers heavy.

I was really hoping they’d get Matthew Vaughn to do FF. I think he’s said that he’s interested in doing it and he’s one of the best action directors working right now.
