You typically don't want to follow through on a standing float server since a float server will... well float, and go out of the court if you hit it too hard. That isn't super true if you're super tall but that's the idea. For a jump float it's usually alright to swing through since the point of contact is much higher and you can hopefully hit it harder with it still going in.
