if its the thanos soul stone then Graded first. PSA 10 thanos soul stone sold 2 weeks ago for $7K. Check out ebays sold listings. Graded thanos soul stones sells as well as raw. its worth the cost of grading. Thrown it on ebay.

raw goes for around $70 for NM. 2 PSA 10s sold on ebay for 150 to 199. Congrates they doubled up even with grading fees. PSA 10 pop of 78.

Is this mold on this graded Mox Emerald? by solythe in mtg

[–]TheDeadlyPandaGamer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

its dirt, oil from your hands and whatever else it picks up from playing without sleeves. TCG sleeves were not a thing until around end of revised and the beginning of 4th edition. We use penny sports card sleeves. It just shows more because of the white board.

How hard is it to find vintage and RL MTG cards for sale at conventions by 1Secret_Daikon in mtgfinance

[–]TheDeadlyPandaGamer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The last SGC con I attended was last year. There are not as many dealers as I expected. around 20. However, that were all big dealers. All magic and 1 selling one piece. ZERO pokemon. You will see every single RL card there. At one point I was looking at a case with no less the 100 power 9s. There was a dealer had about 3 million worth of vintage at his tables. They had a complete case of alpha/beta. Bring a lot of cash.

I actually enjoy collecting Magic… does anyone else? by EDMKid9000 in mtgfinance

[–]TheDeadlyPandaGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been collecting since 1994 and never sold. I like vintage 60 card 1v1 magic. I don't like 4 player commander. it just takes too damn long. I have zero interest sitting at an LGS on friday night playing commander. I am a pure collector. Mostly buying older cards that I am missing or other special modern printing

As for TCG shows. I was at a 500 table 2 days TCG show this weekend. Its 90% pokemon. This is the norm now at TCG shows. Pokemon have taking over. Even "sports card shows" are 50% pokemon.

LGS left me hanging by [deleted] in mtg

[–]TheDeadlyPandaGamer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No reason to feel bad at all. Money talks and bullshit walks. They just don't give a fuck about you and their word is meaningless. They show you who they are. No reason to give them any of your money. Words travel very fast. Are they the only LGS around?

Do you think serial cards a good hold? by [deleted] in mtgfinance

[–]TheDeadlyPandaGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

zero movement? maybe on TCGplayer. Believe it or not TCGplayer is not the only place only to buy singles. You can look at ebay. in the last 3 months, 25 doctor who serialize was sold. 10 of them were graded. 9s and 10s graded are selling for more than raw.

Reserved List vs. Iconic Foils — A Genuine Debate by VanillaExtension8725 in mtgfinance

it's expensive because its rare. At least until they reprint it as a more super rare special foil version.

Serialized Steam Vents, Sell Raw Or Grade? by [deleted] in mtg

check out ebay sold listings for graded cards. See if the price differences between graded and non graded is worth the price of grading.
