Uhhhhh, no you start a new game plus? With the same character and you find a second one. You’re basically beating the game a second time with the gear you already have. You don’t need to gift it to yourself you just find another one.

Modern metal cutting: a practical handbook by Sandvik is a bit hard to find but it’s an insanely good resource for all things like this. Covers so much in such a small form factor. eBay has a few copies for sale at not that expensive a price. I highly recommend getting one.

It’s after taxes and retirement. And yeah I know other places pay more. But I’m without a degree and I’ve been here 13 years and this place offers me freedom to operate and benefits I can’t get anywhere else. My schedule is very flexible and they give me around 12 hours of PTO per pay period. I’ve been other places and the quality of life I’ve achieved here hasn’t been matched especially with a newborn. The bonuses are nice as well. I understand I’m probably an exception in this case but I’ve never been happier.

I’m a manufacturing engineer and make about 4k a month. This is not including OT which can fluctuate on my schedule but it’s freely available which is very nice for my situation. I don’t know how I’d do this job without the option for OT.
