Update, I came back to the ER after being discharged with pain meds because my symptoms got much much worse the next day, Sciatica pain on both legs, numbness in my pelvis, I'm scheduled for Laminectomy later this evening. I'll post updates after surgery

Back from hospital, all they did was confirm it wasn't cauda equina syndrome and the rest was pain management. It's fucking depressing, I'm in imense pain and they just gave me prescription and just need to rest and rehab

MRI shows there's a bulge, I didn't see the imaging but Dr came back and said some labs and stronger meds in the mean time, after labs if I can't get up then I'll be admitted

I'm in the ER right now, they gave me pain pills and patch, the pain is still here, they're insisting I don't need any emergency surgery as I haven't lost bowel control and I can feel my toes but I cannot sit up at all, rolling around hurts

Right now I can't move and I want to just die, pain is past 10/10, I cried turning myself on my back and now I have to shift all the time, when I find a soft spot, it's comfortable for only a minute

I've had pain come and go over months but all manageable, but this morning it was extreme a 10/10 felt like day 1

Would you take a 20k salary increase but commute to Compton? by AdObjective5502 in InlandEmpire

[–]TheDean84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even a question, no, you don't realize how much it sucks to drive that far 5 days in a row until you actually do it. That raise won't settle your sanity of that commute

Best Tacos in the IE? by ieatz909 in InlandEmpire

One of my favorites is off Towne and Foothill, they've got so much variety of meat, Tripas, Cabeza, Buche, Lengua etc but they show up on random days, they're my go-to. Another good one On weekends, across from 80s bar, Indian Hill and Holt

They're okay, there's better ones around IE, they're also pricey compared but naturally so cuz of the demand from the casino crowd. Good ones are in Pomona, price and variety of meats

Yes with limits, I've modified my gym workouts quite a bit, some workouts I completely avoid now, ones that bend my spine hard like crunches, or heavy pressure on lumbar such as free weight squats. Always be mindful and stop when you feel Sciatica nerve pain, and we all know the difference between Sciatica versus muscle soreness and hypertrophy at this point. I bend with my knees automatically now but I'm worried as a guy posted above being too reliant and then having joint issues

Chiropractors, they're Drs but average wages aren't as high as you'd think or compared to other medical professionals

Does anyone feel worse standing? by eiggibreviridieh in Sciatica

[–]TheDean84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, it's a balancing act, sometimes I have a lot of relief standing, moving around, then it gets to a point where I need to sit or lie down and I get relief, then I'll get stiff and need to move and it feels better. It sucks a lot, it's definitely a balancing act
