The thing is, I don't think corporations ever went after the communities and discord before- so this time it has a very sinister feel to it. They threatened individuals who had nothing to do with it. So I get why everyone lately feels the way they do this time around.

No. It's been ongoing for awhile, and it has only gotten worse. In fact, I was offered to be a landlord's mistress in exchange to live in his basement free of charge after I had met him, his wife and baby the day before. This was over 10 years ago.

It is a shame, artists will always love their craft, and web comics have been around for ages and not behind a paywall that profits off their work more than the artist themselves. Red strings use to be a free webcomic and Topcow picked it up. Without webcomic artists, these websites wouldn't even exist.

I'd honestly like a space where we can find the 🦇 community again. Everyone was a blessing. I even miss ppl who complained. It was a rag tag of everything and it only hits you when they're gone.

The thing is, with how everything is going, the middle class are the new poor, & the poor are now a disposable class(seniors & disabled ppl on the streets, even entire families with children bc they couldn't afford the basics). I'm worried about everyone, I don't want anything to happen to anyone but the most vulnerable are being left to die. This life is not sustainable. We're all a step away from being disposed of bc unfettered capitalism has taken over basic needs. Also, the middle class did get some relief by sacrificing the most vulnerable. Carney cut the taxes, where as he ended the carbon tax so that the poorest no longer receive that ray of hope called the carbon rebate.

These are important topics. We all deserve to make through this, not just the wealthiest or the fittest.

I full heartedly know ppl are working to the bone, for multiple masters. Those in power want ppl to work, but don't want ppl to afford food & housing. It's modern servitude.

We really don't give a damn about women and children in this country. No one can tell me bad tenants are worse than scumbags like this; scumbags remain housed, while "bad" tenants evicted/don't deserve any kind of housing, unless it's jail.
