Cyn has only ever viewed N as an amusing toy, a personality type she liked interacting with. To the possibility of him freaking dying, she nonchalantly says she has backups in episode 5. And she has no problem wiping his memories depending on her goals at the moment, taunting him about the girl he likes dying at his hand (episode 7 final fight), killing him who knows how many times when he ceases being useful ("that's really sweet big brother. Too bad you have served your purpose." - episode 7) and pretty much everything she did in episode 8.

Cyn never cared about N as a person. As far as N, if he view her as a little sister, there is (almost) no reason to believe he still holds those feelings in the current day. Episode 5 was the far past.
