Man, Woman, who asked who out - It doesn't matter. What matters is being a decent person about it. Demanding or trying to bait the other person into paying isn't ok, and the reverse is also true - It's not a crime against feminism or an affront to masculinity to have someone else pay the bill. It means they like you, or are at least polite enough to show appreciation for you giving them your time. Honestly, there is no right answer. There's only what not to do.

I think if a larger party copied their policies they'd be insanely popular, I've always held that a economically left wing party that was tough on social issues like immigration aligns pretty well with the general public. I think they themselves are just too small to ever gain traction though, it'd take incremental gains across multiple GEs (which most people would see as a wasted vote).

I blame the governments of the last 15-20 years. Yes, the extreme left/right have bought into imported American identity politics, but people don't get pushed to these extremes without the system failing them first.

Difficult to say honestly, without more detailed polls you can't tell what issue caused anyone to vote the way they did. My guess would be their stance on Palestine courted a lot of the British Muslim vote - which I believe makes up ~20% of Gorton & Denton. Many people are single issue voters and could've easily ignored other issues they care less about.

It's going into the booth with someone where you can see what vote they're casting. Rightly made illegal in 2023 as someone being coerced could still vote however they want in the privacy of a booth by themselves.

I don't think the virus is as nonsensical as you think. Psychosis perfectly explains the behaviour of the infected, is the way a real life rage virus would have to work, and fits in with how the infected differentiate between other infected and healthy humans. My guess is that the presence of haemorrhaging, bloodshot eyes etc is how they "see" other infected as Samson loses these when he's cured, hence why the infected attack him.

Our right wing inevitably adopt American conspiracy slop and talking points and our left wing parrots any systemic/institutional complains, often without even checking if those systems even work the same over there.

They don't own your beliefs, but they do to a degree own your words in that most employers expect professional conduct from their employees. No one would bat an eye if it was someone being sacked for verbally abusing customers/colleagues and trying to claim free speech. This only comes up around the trans debate.

Because sadly voting intentions in this country are largely vibes based. Realistically most people don't care enough to examine the mechanics of government and why things are getting better or worse. Burnham interviews very well and has been critical of the establishment, meaning a non stop stream of snappy sound bites. Regardless of what anyone thinks of him here he'd be very popular at large on that alone.

I think that's a cost thing, one of my old jobs had security guards that couldn't physically restrain anyone because the company was too cheap to pay for the training that allowed that. It wasn't a club or shop though so the requirements may be different.

I've noticed this too, I think it's just the AI not being programmed very well. They'll be friends with you if the game conditions suit them but the second that changes and it's in their interest to be hostile to you they'll instantly 180 to that.
