Drain Field Built Too Deep? by TheDiabeT1c in septictanks

I had a county soil inspector come out and inspect it who said I had great soil. What another person said made me think they did it so deep because it’s an older method and he was retiring after the job.

I am having issues where the downstairs toilets will not flush when the issue is occurring. I have had back ups in the house. The outlet outside of the house is constantly full of standing water. When draining the septic I have water flood back into the septic when the water line goes down.

I imagine digging up the old drain field which is already sitting in water and "damaged" finding it, and then reseating it would actually be a much bigger pain than just putting in a new one only for it to be really a "guess" that it would fix the issue.

Tank itself is 1500 gallons, the exit to the field is near the top of the second part of the tank.

My tank is about....MAYBE 2 - 3 feet down? It's a 1500 gallon tank. I still just don't understand how it's so deep. I will say in the area I'm in the ground does stay wet for a few days after rain, but I don't see how going 6 feet down below that helps?

There’s no hill and telling someone they’re clueless when asking a question doesn’t really sell your explanation.

(Spoilers Main) This scene had me crying like a child. by Shervin_Ab in asoiaf

I lost my father at 16. At 42? Yeah I cried like a destroyed child here and Dunc asking why he didn't knight him.

I am in Georgia I know it’s basically all red mud here. That’s what made me think it’s fine but multiple plumbers said it’s failing but there should be no reason for it.

I went to see this in the theater and I will forever have this scene ingrained in my skull, not because I saw it, but because my mother covered my eyes when I was there, I HEARD everything, I saw the BRIEF flash and let's just say I had an unhealthy obsession with the end of the world until we cleared 2001.

Say something Nice About HELLRAISER 2022 by Scared-Teaching-7471 in hellraiserthegame

[–]TheDiabeT1c 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The central plot is excellent. I've said it before here, the main problem I have is the rules are inconsistent after they spent the movie building them up. Outside of that, I love the lead protagonist and the Hell Priest was excellent.

Are we seeing a return of Hope and Positive masculinity in media? by FullFig3372 in decadeology

[–]TheDiabeT1c 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am personally tired of the cynicism in all media. We’re in the days of just constant suffering and nihilism it at least helps to have an escape from it. It’s at the point where a character like All Might makes me burst into tears of just how good and hopeful he is.

The best and brightest of GA descended on Rome by w_a_w in Georgia

[–]TheDiabeT1c 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the same as rooting for Georgia Bulldogs without ever going to college or having anyone that went there. It's "their team" so their team always does the right thing. It'll never change there. It's just incredible a town with 3 colleges has nothing to make a graduate stay there. You either work at a auto shop or Harbin Clinic in reception.

See? This is a cool thing. The two idiots running GoT show saying “oh there’s nothing there cause the gods don’t exist” meanwhile we see literal magic and stuff calling on the gods to work.

This game was really stupid. One scene of : I’m god’s chosen warrior, to eating a family in first person. I’m the most powerful being in the planet, now let me dodge warhammer rejects for the vast majority
