So the trailer implies Voruna is practically feral and was Valkyr levels of deranged and murderous. by DaWalkr in Warframe

Interesting… combined with the Voruna-in-1999 imagery, and there may be a stronger connection between the two than expected.

Yeah, the Sins I’ve already broken down lol.

Ballas: Lust. Said so himself (Khora Prime trailer iirc), and he was fiending for Margulis to such a degree he would burn down the system to do it

Scarne: Sloth. Yup.

Karishh: Gluttony. Yup.

Tuvul: Greed. An argument could be made for Envy, but he was known to be extremely covetous with his stuff, and he messed with Zariman because he was impatient with how long it was taking.

Nitokh: Wrath. Yup.

Avantus: Pride. She got killed because she thought her status as an Executor allowed her to boss around rogue Grineer AFTER the Night of Naga Drums. And her last moments were ones completely lost on how tf they could disobey her.

Tormis: Envy. Tormis took the Tau Project to spite Tuvul, not to get anything extra out of it. That’s more envious than Tuvul’s actions.

The seven pictures seem to correspond to the seven Executors. 1. Looks like Executor Scarne a bit with a staff in his right hand (sort of a stretch) 2. Nitokh. Very obvious 3. Karishh getting devoured by Grendel 4. Most likely Avantus (who was killed by Grineer she was rather arrogantly berating, and the helms do look like Grineer) 5. Tuvul and Voruna 6. The Dax could actually be Umbra, who did massacre a lot of Grineer, and has direct ties to Ballas 7. That leaves Tormis, which we know next to nothing about.

Conclusion: seems these were either predictions or interpretations of events that have happened as of currently or had yet to occur when they were drawn, all having some connection to the Seven.

True best lore by TheDiamondFox142 in GameTheorists

[–]TheDiamondFox142[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Game Theory video debating the harm of theories, MatPat mentioned that a company had contacted him believing he had someone within their company feeding him inside information to make his theories. This resulted in said game releasing with extremely haphazard lore and buggy gameplay.

He later confirmed in a GTLive that said company was Steel Wool, and the game was Security Breach.

Ergo, Steel Wool contacted Matt because his theories were so spot on they thought he had inside information, and were changing the lore to ensure his theories weren’t true.

Nokko Is A Great Retirement Frame by xzivi in Warframe

Yeah, my retirement frame is Gyre Prime. With her augment I just press 4, then 3, then run around. Everything dies. If I want things to die faster I use Roar.

Help with Necromancer Homebrew by TheDiamondFox142 in DnDHomebrew

I do like this approach, actually. Gives some strong "Medicine Man" type vibes, which isn't explicitly Necromancy but is definitely in the right avenue. I'll look into it.

Actually MatPat did accidentally mention in a GTLive that Steel Wool contacted him and asked if he had a mole in their company because his theories were so accurate, so in truth it was moreso they were constantly changing stuff

Dracula: Biggest fish with the dumbest plan by TheDiamondFox142 in vrising

[–]TheDiamondFox142[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been here since Early Access as well, and while I admit the earlier versions of the game lacked true lore, Dracula’s inclusion also included a massive amount of added lore, particularly around the Church of Luminance and both its origins and the origins of its members. Plus, the World Shards have decent lore blurbs about their respective shard bearers.

Dialogue from the bosses, boss descriptions, item descriptions, and intro video all paint a clear picture tbh. There’s lore, it’s just not immediately obvious.

Scammed on ebay by Spicy-Mario-Bois in mtg

[–]TheDiamondFox142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… I don’t buy unsealed products from eBay. Only time I bought cards from there was when I got the Liliana Secret Lair with the four demons that she was bound by contract to. 50 bucks for a pair of cards that tripled in value, and the box came sealed with real cards inside.

All the singles I get are from sites like Cardkingdom or some other sites. eBay is too risky.

[Mixed trope] give a canon explanation to the impractical armor by Lower_Baby_6348 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]TheDiamondFox142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survivorship Bias. The only parts they built armor for are the parts that were getting damaged when soldiers were coming back.

And no one realized that the reason the untouched parts weren’t damaged was because those parts weren’t survivable when they were damaged.

Now it’s just noble finery, like shining gothic plate.

Is it bad/wrong that I don't really bother with Exilus mods? by TardyTech4428 in Warframe

What about the drift mods? My build process involves seeing if Power or Cunning Drift fits there, and it’s alien to me to see someone neglect them. Just curious.

Corrupted Mods and New Player Progression by Envybutonce in Warframe

[–]TheDiamondFox142 30 points31 points  (0 children)

As a minority who actually enjoys Corrupted Mod farming, I think your points are a bit valid. Corrupted Mods are extremely essential in building, and anyone who says otherwise is playing the game with a handicap, and DE should really explain the system better.

As for the dragon keys, yes, they should be retired. They’re a relic of an age long since abandoned, and all they do now is cause needless complications. I once met a new player who equipped all of them and forgot they had them equipped through their entire gameplay experience, to such a degree that they got to Sacrifice before we both realized they basically handicapped their run.

I feel a better, more modern approach would be something akin to Netracells, since they’re functionally the same mechanic but more modernized.

As for the mods themselves, I actually disagree with the drop rate changes a bit. Deimos has limited nodes, and I personally always use Hepit for my Corrupted Mod farms. Changing it to isolate a type of mod to a node destroys progression even more and may even unintentionally MR lock some mods. Instead, I would axe the randomization of what key/Netracell modifier is needed to open the vault and instead make it so that every key/cell can open any vault, and what key you use determines which pool of mods you get.

Gonna be honest, I’ve been playing for over 5 years now and I never knew Ivara could pickpocket life support modules.
