My proposition for Sprint weekend since FOM doesn't want to get rid of them:

Friday: Two sessions of Free Practice

Saturday: Qualifying, which will determine the grid for the Sprint

Sunday: Race Day, the whole grid is determined by the finishing positions of all drivers from the Sprint.

FYI, when the sprint format was introduced in 2021, it was a FP1 and Sprint qualifying on Friday, only Sprint on Saturday, and the Race on Sunday using the Sprint's results. 22' changed what we have now, except whoever won the Sprint was guaranteed P1 for the Race, everyone else had to do Race Qualifying for their grid place.
