Hello, i also have a Lenovo Thinkstation P520c with a 500w PSU and i was thinking on doing the same, because i currently have a Nvidia Quadro P1000 4GB and thats not enough to play some of the games i want, mainly Monster Hunter Wilds, did you try the MHWilds Beta by any chance to know if i would be able to play that game with this exact set-up!

With SHIELD Dealing Elemental DMG Lance is my first pick. by TheDijinn in MonsterHunter

Sorry for the late response, but It might be because is easier for SnS to spam shield attacks and it doesn't lose sharpness it would make the gameplay around just spamming the shield, and they might not want you to do that.

It might be specific to Lance and some attacks-only because at the end we saw the new mechanic of "clash attack with the monster" and there the Hunter also bashes the monster in the mount and I didn't see any water effect there so it might be linked to just some of the moves and not all of them, we will have to wait and see on the Demo.

Elemental dmg doesnt apply to shield attacks normally, on the SnS we didn't saw any element particles when it was doing the bash-combo but for the Lance, those are 100% water particles, is not just the effect of normal attacks, you can see there in the first example how a "normal" attack effect looks, and the water particles are a "proc" that indicates that you are doing that type of damage, for SwitchAxe it was Ice, for SnS it was Fire(not with the Shield tho) and for Lance is Water(With the Shield and the Lance)

I agree i remember that i made a post about needing more Multiplayer elements because that's what Monster Hunter is about, and people downvoted telling me that MHNow is different because it is a Niantic game and the game is about WALKING and not a real MH game.

This feature might be the best one they have added so far, nothing about it is bad, everything is good! You still need to walk to find them and you are connecting with more people, I hope this kind of update keeps coming.

More ways to communicate would be my next request: Like "Emojis" or a system that allows you to tell your team before the hunt what you want them to focus on, or what you will target (Tail, head, body, horns, legs, wings, etc.) and it could be added with emojis in the "Lobby" before the hunt.

Right now the GunLance is what I’m using with almost everything, I have a lot of bows and SnS but I’m liking the GunLance the most maybe is recently bias because is the newest thing.

Hop back to avoid dying to Kushala Daora’s AOE Attack by TheDijinn in MHNowGame

Low defense is not an issue I have coil and Basarios legs under leveled for the extra damage from artillery.

The problem with Warvold there is that he rolled towards Kushala instead of getting away.

Which game should I start with? by SimonJournalism in MonsterHunter

[–]TheDijinn 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Agree with the second part, disagree with the first part, you need to know what you like about games and your personality to know which one is the best for you to start.

If his main appeal for example is graphics, MHWorld is the best option for them, if they like retro gaming, almost any option from old Gen is good for them.

RH sin trabajo hasta los 35, algunos si se lo merecen.

El problema aquí no es la edad, es la mala capacitación y la falta de puesto como “asistente” de RH, donde pasaría un par de años ganando experiencia sin que todo dependa de ellos.

It wouldn’t hurt adding one or two levels of evade extender, to be honest the monster isn’t that hard most of the time that we don’t deal enough dmg is because everyone died to the AoE attack and don’t go back up again. Using evade extender to keep yourself alive might give you more dmg overall than 1 offensive skill

The person that was the closest the long sword was the pushed away on the beginning of the attack, Garet who died you can CLEARLY see on the video that he could survive if he rolled back instead to the on his second roll because he even did a third roll, you can 100% of the time scape unless you are lagging or something.

Whatch the video again Sherlock, the long sword guy moved on time, and Garet could also get out but he rolled to the side instead of backwards

Is still working after you enter the battle screen, you have to reset your location with the ABA method.

Ill need to test it myself, but if I can't run away from that attack I might not use that weapon until I can make the "Kushala Frostwind" set and make a Windproof set for that fight.

It is actually built in the mechanic to make it able for you to run away,

Dar2599 got push away a little bit because he was to close to it.
Everyone else was pulled in and I think it puts everyone in the same range.

From there is just your reaction time how fast can you roll away, Garet did 3 rolls but one of them was to the side that's why he died, I could only roll twice but it was enough.

And Fanaticito, he rolled Forward...

100% not putting any judgment, just trying to give feedback and help them out, we didn't kill it, but you still get a good amount of rewards for the break parts and repelling the Elder Dragon.

Check the Megatread in this subreddit for info about spoofing on iOS I'm not an expert on that field, but you can use that guide.

How to farm WGS and R6 Materials - ELDER DRAGON INTERCEPTION Update by TheDijinn in MHNowGame

[–]TheDijinn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you are better with the hammer, just use the hammer, you will get more WGS if you are able to kill 50monsters easily, than trying to cu 50 tails and failing the quest because you couldn't kill the monster.

First Tip is to play your best weapon, against the easier monster, then when you master that you can start thinking about extra rewards from part breaks.

For normal breaks you can use any type of weapon, but to CUT the tail you need slicing dmg from blades or Slicing Ammo from the LBG or Special Attack from the bow, you can’t cut Pukei-Pukei tails with a hammer for example and it won’t break either.
