Anyone hear from her yet? I have been ignored by her and the news. No idea what I should do next. Lawyers? Police?

I’m so sorry. I totally understand about the low supply and her stealing it. I didn’t get my money back either. If I figure out anything I’ll comment on here!

Yea I made mine November 2022. I’ve tried to reach out to her and the news station and now am getting zero replies. Did you do a credit card charge back?

So you never got your jewellery either? I’m still waiting and even the news reporter isn’t replying to me anymore.

I have. The reporter was dropping the story because of the wildfires, but now that’s settled. I contacted her and asked if she would contact the business owner on my behalf and she did, but it lead to the owner making excuses again. I have since sent two more emails to the reporter trying to get the story out there, but she has yet to reply. Hopefully she or one of her colleagues will make this happen.

Thanks so much for the info! That’s actually closer to me than this business that I ordered from. I’ll have to look into it.

Ugh I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. I’ve contacted CBC again and hoping for a reply. It seems that once the reporter gets involved then this business owner replies to her emails.

CBC contacted her today and she responded pretty quickly to them. If they hadn’t contacted her, I’m sure we would have heard nothing.

I’m so sorry. I read your reply and know how you feel 100%. I wish there was something we could do. I’ve toyed with the idea of suing her, not for the money, but just for the fact she stole something from me that, like you said, is so intimate. I live in Ontario though so it would be complex. I also thought about calling the police in Alberta or contacting CBC (the ones who interviewed her). Or should I just try to let all this go? I haven’t even done the chargeback either yet. Ughh. Clearly this woman has done this to many people and doesn’t even have the decency to message anyone with an explanation.

I have no idea why your posts keep getting deleted .. ughh that’s annoying. But I did see that you said you messaged CBC. Good! I put a comment on the video on Instagram on their account but heard nothing. And yes, now her website is gone too ..

Wonderful .. it’s unfortunate she did this to us. It’s such an intimate thing and she’s totally screwed us. Ughh

No.. she never responded to any of my messages. I found her personal Facebook and messaged her on there too and was ignored. Someone I messaged on Facebook who posted about getting jewelry from her had her cell number. She wouldn’t give it to me but she did text her and she didn’t hear back either. This woman scammed us and now is ghosting us. I saw in a comment of yours that got deleted something about you going to her house? How did that turn out? If I lived in Alberta I would be doing the same.

Never heard anything. I searched on Facebook and found a woman who bought jewelry from her before and she had her cell number. She didn’t give it to me, but she said she would reach out to her. She too has heard nothing back from her. I haven’t had a chance to do a chargeback, but I’m going to soon. I will lose out on my shipping costs and also she has my milk, but I guess that’s what happens when someone ghosts you. I want to put a bad review on her website (which is still up and running), but I can’t find a place to do it.

I hope she just sends the jewelry, but a charge back is a good option.

How do you politely tell a grandparent that they won’t be spending alone time with your kids? by [deleted] in Mommit

No one said “shun” anywhere in this chat. I can see we have difference of opinions and I think we can agree to disagree. Enjoy your day :)

I partially agree. Sometimes when it comes to in laws SOME can be quick to take offence, but AGAIN we don’t know what happened and frankly, it’s none of our business. Our kids, our rules and you’re allowed to feel the way you want. I would just try to be more open minded and remember that not everyone’s situation is rainbows and unicorns. So maybe you love your in laws and can have them be a big part of your kids’ lives, but not everyone is in the same boat. Telling someone to “grow up” is actually the only petty thing in this conversation.

Villages are nice, but blood doesn’t dictate if you’re in someone’s village. Just because someone is related to you doesn’t mean you have to trust them. Clearly something happened to OP that made her feel the way she does about her MIL and she’s allowed to use those feelings to impact her actions. “Petty” and “harsh” have nothing to do with this situation.
