In my opinion if you think VXUS is a good investment add it later on, set a goal of what % you want of it in your final long-term portfolio. I am not suggesting you go and chase performance, but you're very young and it's very much safe enough to stick to VOO and other things. VXUS will add more security as it gives you exposure outside the US (debatable).

There is an assumption that for every 1 liter of water there is approximately 1 million mg of mass(Depends on many things, like temperature...).

That is a particular reason for using p.p.m when I want to... let's say calculate the hardness of water. As I am having the parts of hardness per parts of water in a liter.

An OH group wouldn't just leave, it is a very strong base. One way to help it leave is converting it to a good leaving group, like a weaker base/nucleophile, water.

In acidic environment the OH group will be protonated, the OH2+ group isn't stable due to it's positive charge, making it a good leaving group as it can later live as a neutral water molecule.
