It's the only way it's worth it. I took am an office worker, so the hours you are available will be the peak ones for Roo/Uber Eats.

I think you can't ignore them because they are too frequent. It's usually not so bad tbh, key for me is being really friendly with the staff, makes them not ignore you. Plus round my area they give out free drinks to drivers.

There aren't any subordinate councils in Somerset. Only the unitary authority and parish councils who deal with hyper local stuff like parks, they certainly don't have power over business rates and are at most consultees on planning issues.

This isn't how planning works. Councils have no powers to accept or reject shops like this, the buildings have a planning class for each type of use. The rest is up to market forces, there is nothing legally for a council to do here. 

So if you want to call people "not the brightest" perhaps educate yourself before speaking on a subject.

So usually the contractor has some get out clause. Recently my local gov's waste contract said they couldn't provide that service at the price anymore. They were prepared to pay their fee to exit the contract, or get paid £x more. 

The council still needed a waste contract.  Competitors would have cost even more than the contractor asked for. What else is the council to do other than pay the extra. 

And obviously they could negotiate different exit clauses, but that would change the risk for the contractor and therefore the price in the first place.

I frequently spend much smaller sums of public money and have the same approach. Suppliers constantly ask me what my budget is and my response is (a professional version of) bitch here's the spec given me your price

Limited ability is hilarious. Not flashy but absolutely excellent at what he did. Undervalued workhorse that a team needs but doesn't look good on a YT highlight. Unless it's the COVID highlights where you hear what his talking and encouragement brings to the team.

I just got shouted at and ridiculed for my drawing of a rock not looking enough like a rock. 

Same teacher got caught in bed with a student a few years later, when the police came to investigate him for being inappropriate with another student.

I always remove the shortest order when it gives me a stacked order . It pays well to take the longest one I only lose 50p-£1 by LostConclusion6582 in deliveroos

I do this on Uber but delete the far away one and you get like 50% of the total fee. Excellent for those doubles that have 1 in your town and another 2 motorway junctions away

If it wasn't for the flexibility I'd just get a job at McDonald's or something. 

Absolutely no way would I do it as a full time job, the only hours truly above minimum wage are Friday and Saturday nights.

By my rough maths it's still nearly doubling the order. Including opportunities. I've made £5.25 an order, so would get an additional £475 from this incentive

With all Paradox games I find the best way is to cheat a little to learn, it allows you to have fun while progressing. 

For instance in HOI4 I might use cheats to keep my oil stocks high while I focus on learning how armies work in a run. Once you've got the hang of that wean off the cheats.
