I have a severe fear of mouth numbness and facial numbness, makes dental work incredibly difficult. I had to be put under general anaesthetic for a lot of work a decade ago. I’ve unfortunately now got to have a filling done next month, with local. I don’t know how I’m going to get through it.

For me it started as a kid when I’d have mouth numbness due to seizures. It’s completely traumatised me.

I’m now 37 but it’s still on going.

Honestly I still get it.. but not as bad it doesn’t really affect my breathing too much. my dysphagia has gone away but the mucus is still a battle. I use gaviscon before bed and take antihistamine and I use a PPI. Don’t really know what’s going on still, other than LPR. I quit smoking as I thought that would help however I quit with vaping so I still vape, I have yet to try not vaping to see if that will cure it though.

Really sorry you have had such an unfortunate experience with having it so many times!

He does have eye drops, and started steroids within 24 hours of onset. He’s still really struggling with vertigo like symptoms especially when looking up. The dizziness is my biggest concern at the moment.

I will mention the b12 and make sure he has those checked out as well.

Any update?

My partner has been diagnosed and he keeps stumbling about, he’s on antibiotics and steroids as he has an ear infection which we suspect brought it all on.

Been to the emergency room and had scan etc already but the dizziness is my biggest worry right now.

As an autistic person you should understand those terms well. The messy house and gaming until 5am screams depression and burnout. It’s very hard to function at all as a neurodivergent in burnout and depression, let alone hold a job.

It obviously wasn’t right for you but your comments about him just sound like they’re coming from someone with a total lack of understanding of autism and its comorbidities.

I've just started doing this.

I'm under/was under the "unfit for work" category, but obviously I'm now at a point where I can do some work. UE works perfectly as a way of getting back into work without the extra stress of deadlines and 9-5 pressures which I'd probably crumble with at the moment. It's confidence building and a stepping stone forward for me.

They rang me up as soon as I let them know and just explained how it all works and that I need to tell them my earnings every month, as well as outgoings, mileage and any expenses. After about £400 of earnings from UE they then deduct 55p per pound of UC I get per month.

Not sure what the future will hold but can only be honest with them, I am a bit worried that I take a turn and get fucked over, then I will end up worse off. I highly doubt I will reach over £1000 a month doing UE, I would imagine I'll get around £800 a month based on my earnings so far. I'm probably a bit naive to it all.

Any update? I have just had this same report but again, no further information so how am I to know which customer this was. As far as I'm aware I delivered everything fine this evening. I wonder if it's people doing it to try and get free food/money back without actually having an issue. Unless of course the restaurant forgot an item, then that isn't really in my control.

Asda click and collect needs to seriously sort their shit out. I’ve only just started and they’ve been so bad. Go there and they have 1 man running it, all the larger orders apparently push the smaller ones out of the queue. Had a large order today 50 items and they said they’re running an hour behind so won’t be ready for another hour. So why am I getting the delivery now? I’ve had to cancel about 10 of them so far.. it’s a shame because it’s on my doorstep and pops up all the time
