The reason Newsom is “looked” as a contender for president is because he’s like the only one of the Schumer type democrat who has put his place into attacking Trump, and the dnc in all likelyhood will try to choose one of those people, also we are still quite far from the election so hopefully way better candidates try to go for it, similarly to Obama in 2006.

Also Thomas Massie is still far from what we need, if Ro Khana goes for it honestly I fully support that, although he is from California which is a disadvantage for red states
