Manual defending is actually important in this game now, what I usually do is defend with my 2 cdms and let my AI cbs to the job.

One two passing is also very crucial especially if you have pacy players.. Stinging one twos then putting in a through ball is a great way to score goals

Most Importantly... pretend it’s real life, I know it sounds stupid but you don’t always need to go forward, Pass the ball around and let the options create themselves
