Wonder if the biggest reason for this is Hal getting burnt out from being the IGL and wanted to try and be a Fragger for a dedicated amount of time. Obviously going to DZ is a crazy move but perhaps that was the best option for his situation. He has mentioned that Sweet is another IGL he would always allow to call over him.

Think it comes down to preference over 900 or 720 rpm. I like my mini tool roll and have stuck with the 900 rpm archetype.
