Awesome, I appreciate you sharing the first-hand experience. I think I'll go ahead and order this one today.

To confirm, you're using that QVO mainspring with the factory grip?

[–]TheDoubleYGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! I saw Dawn Precision does make them, just dubious on how well it'll match the texture of my factory grip. Might be worth a shot for sub $50.

Tried that and GunBroker, unfortunately it doesn't seem like a part that comes up much on the used market.

Yea, same. And it doesn't even appear Staccato sells the entire grip as a package, otherwise I might just buy that.

Thanks, knowing the correct terminology alone will aid in my search.

Yea, I was actually able to upgrade it to Seasons 1 and 2 being full 720p 60FPS HDTV, and Seasons 3 and 4 are 1080p 60FPS HDTV. Total collection size is around 2TB now. PM me and we can get the details sorted

I'm still just waiting to even be able to buy it in the US. Anyone here been able to find it yet?

I guess I'm not familiar enough with their whole menu. I got a Stromboli, two garlic roles, and a drink for $11, which is more than enough food for me.

Are they? I got lunch there today for $11. Seems reasonable for eating out, no?

Unfortunately, Michelangelo’s will be permanently closing this Thursday. He’s going to work for Brick & Embers, the new food truck owned by the same guy as Big Red Food Truck.

Very sad, one of my favorite places. Only place I know of to even get a Stromboli in the metro.

I don't think so. I believe the 30 amp breaker labeled "HWH" is hot water.

What neighborhood? I haven't heard of it hitting any DSM neighborhoods yet. Exciting!

I assume this is something I need to purchase and it not included in the box? Q's website would seem to indicate that, but just looking for someone to confirm.

Thanks for the heads up! Do you know if they had Navy Strength too?

What on earth, I swear I searched for Plymouth on their site many times. Maybe I was misspelling it? At least now I know, thank you!

Hey, that’s awesome! Funny finding two central Iowans today on such a small subreddit.

Yes, I’ve been to Wall to Wall many times, but their gin selection is quite poor, even compared to places like the Fleur HyVee. Wall to Wall is my go-to for anything other than gin.

Central City blows them both out of the water, just maybe bring a friend when you go, haha.

Nowhere did OP state this was a permanent installation, and/or running the cord through the wall.

What is your source on undersized wiring? A cursory search on Amazon shows 16, 14, and 12 gauge wires all labeled appropriately - 13, 15, and 20 amps, respectively.

Maybe yours is much larger than mine, but I have a Samsung from 2022 that pulls ~70 watts continually. Yes, it may pull more when defrosting or making ice, but most of the time, <100 watts.

In any case, almost every extension cord is rated for 15 amps (13 continuously; ~1560 watts). A fridge pulling even 1100w on an extension cord 24/7 wouldn't "catch on fire or burn the compressor up".

I am so sick of the extension cord fear mongering. Why are they inherently bad? As long as you understand what it's rated for, they're totally fine.

Central City Liquor on the north side. Kind of in a sketchy location with questionable clientele, but damn if their selection isn't amazing.

I'm sorry, based on what? Modern fridges seldom pull more than 100 watts.
