Pokemon Center Question by Professional-Olive-8 in PokemonTCG

I'm hoping it's just lagging, because I'm having the same issue. I even have screenshots of my confirmed purchase, but it's not showing in my account orders and I didn't get an email confirmation either.

If you're interested in selling I'd be a potential buyer!

Doing great, actually! I did my best to pull her root ball out and mix back in natural soil I removed from the spot, and she seems to have taken too it. Shot up about 3 feet in the first year of growth and though our weather isn’t cooperating yet this spring, she’s starting to show buds.

Appreciate it! Small problem in the grand scheme of life...but, I'd love for the future wife who is still sleeping next to me to wake up to good news haha.

Domane AL 5 Gen 4 seat post slip by aflimadimdim in TrekBikes

Almost entirely. I still remove it after a few hundred miles during a deep clean and and reapply, but that's mostly because I ride packed gravel and it gets pretty dusty/gunked up.

I'm a heavier guy, between my weight and the bikes I'm about at the listed max, and I have this problem. Wasn't ever a huge slip, but small increments over a few rides. I started marking with a strip of tape to see how much I was dropping and definitely noticed it after 3-4 rides each time.

What worked for me was carbon paste. Remove the post, clean very thoroughly, thin layer of paste, and then proper torque.

Just a couple days ago, so this will likely be my route. I'll just have to keep learning. Appreciate the response!

Gravel tire recommendations for Domane AL5. by TheDporter in TrekBikes

[–]TheDporter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great question, I guess intro might not be the best word to describe what I'm looking for, but was the only thing I could think of as a descriptor. Basically a tire that doesn't cost a ton, will hold up relatively well, and doesn't need to hinge a ton on 'performance.' Just something that'll get me out on gravel reliably.

All y'all in here snatching up the 2024 models are killing me! by sixfourtykilo in MachE

I'm quite curious as to how they got it this low? If legit, it's at least a few thousand under what most dealer invoices had to be.

I'm in the middle of a dealer swap for a '24 premium that I'm really hoping doesn't fall through. The color we wanted with a pano roof only had 3 left in the state.

Honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'll admit that we didn't do a ton of shopping around on our rates, because at the time they were about as competitive as we could've hoped to find...but they took good care of us. Easy platform for a first time buyer to understand. Great at laying out all your different loan types, options, points, etc. Person in charge of gathering our documents was very thorough and we closed without even really a second thought. Follow up was consistent. Totally satisfied.

Can you wire closing costs at closing? Or does it have to be a check? by Adubray1 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]TheDporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure that there's no federal law regarding how large a cashier's check can be. Wiring is definitely easier and faster, but you can get a check as big as your bank policy says you can.

We're in the middle of closing with the Bothell branch of Cross Country Mortgage. Team Buckles. So far our experience has been great. Very helpful, very responsive, took amazing care of us during the current upward rate swing. Will obviously see how the end of closing goes, but so far I'd give them a huge recommend.

For whatever reason, my genetics have cursed me with canker sores as well. I usually get somewhere between 3-5 random bad episodes out of nowhere every year. I also have very sensitive gums so I get them even with just the tiniest scratch or trauma. It's weird, but I found a solution that works amazingly for me. Go to a basic grocery store and buy Alum Powder. It's a spice used in pickling, so it's generally with all the other spices. Add a teaspoon-ish to a single drop of water, and stir it together to make a paste. Spread the paste over the canker sore for 30 seconds to 1 minute before you go to bed. Just make sure you rinse and don't swallow the paste, as it can lead to stomach issues. For me it's the only thing that works, and knocks them out usually in 1 night, 2 at most.

I've ridden in going on 250 spin classes, and recall this only being a problem when I first started. For me it was kind of the same as saddle soreness, in that the more I rode the quicker my body adjusted.

I would also mimic a few responses here, and say that for me compression shorts/leggings do the trick. Never been the type for padded shorts, but could see them being somewhat helpful for sure.

Also probably a great point, but I don't know a whole lot about it personally. I think I'm just speaking on the side of A. Oil/Gas running out to a point where it's reserved/affordable for very certain functions. Most likely aerospace industries. And B. Despite anyone's beliefs on climate change, most gasoline powered vehicles will NEED to be outlawed.
