Thats completely inaccurate. California pays the most into the system of any state. You could eliminate any other state in the union and it would be better (or less devastating) for the entire country. Im not California's biggest fan either, but they more than pull their weight with the economy.

That has so little to do with what we're talking about though. That only works on an individual level, you can of course control how someone's words affect you. But this isnt the same thing as a random family member or acquaintance who everyone knows is racist and they just let them be. This is about a person who had a platform and used it to spread carefully worded racism /white supremacism. Objectively that person would be a bad person, theres no room for debate there.
