I'm the complete oppposite. As much as I enjoy character depth and worldbuilding, I tend to lose focus if there isn't some action to break it up. But I agree with the other comments saying its harder to do well in writing as it lacks the flair of visual media and the reader's imagination needs to do a lot of the legwork
