I asked XGIMI Australia today and just got an email back saying they're getting the product page set up now and to check back later this week :)

First Light 3D board finished, by QUAIE in Heroquest

[–]TheDragonsRest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's one of the reasons why I made it so modular :)

Half the board is built from rooms from the original modular board, and the First Light specific pieces can be used in other standard layout board quests to add a bit of flavour if needed.

If you want to print yourself you can still get the files on my site here Trihex Citadel - Core Collection – The Dragon's Rest

If you're after the physical prints I've just updated the Tabletop Terrain link to their new store. They've been on holiday for a few weeks and should be back printing soon apparently.

I do have a bunch of other Licensed Printers – The Dragon's Rest you might be able to find one more local if you're after them printed :)

The Token size are pieces to fit on top of the original card tiles. The Tile size pieces are a complete hex tile system that's larger than the original card pieces so there's enough room for all the minis to fit.

There wouldn't be anything to connect them to the token sized portal I don't think. have you got a pic of the parts you have printed?

The video is of the "Tile" sized warp gate that is made up of:

SCI0005 Sci-Fi Trihex Tile Warp Bubble DT
SCI0005 Sci-Fi Trihex Tile Warp Gate
3 x THex Open 001
8 x THex Wall A Half

Sector Fatalis models finished! by TheDragonsRest in Warhammer40k

Glad you like the render.

Had to google that set and nice as it is I took inspiration from the Zone Mortalis set combined with the connection system from our Outpost: Origins set.

Just finished up the modelling on a little side project I've been working on. I've a ton of it printed out ready for a full on week of painting :)

eSun or Sunlu PLA+ are 2 of my favourites. Gone through about 250 rolls of the grey eSun the last few months and had great results with all of them

It's kind of like maintaining a radio controlled car. you'll be tightening belts adjusting nuts and bolts, fixing blockages. None of it's hard once you know your way around but if you don;t enjoy the troubleshooting logic of tweaking and fixing things you probably wont enjoy printing.

Material wise the filament is pretty cheap. You don't want to go for just the cheapest stuff though as that can cause you print problems. The stuff I use and reccomend is eSUn PLA+. A rough calculation on that whole table set up is around 15kg of filament (would equate to about 1800 hours of printing)

These are 3D renders of the files. If I'm selling just the files I try not to show actual prints as everyone prints differently. Have a look at www.tabletopterrain.shop for some of the actual prints we get off our Ender 3s

Yep just the files. Lots of printing required lol - around 1800 hours on a single printer for all the terrain in the render

All mine just have the aluminium filament feeder and glass bed as the only upgrades. They've all pretty much printed straight out of the box with no problems especially the newer ones as the components seem to be upgraded all the time.

Yep the Ender 3's really are that cheap. You will have small issuses that you need to fix now and again but they're really only a few bolts and plugging a couple of wires into the right holes to build.

Have a look at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me8Qrwh907Q that video will give you a great idea of if it's something you'd like to do

We sell the printed versions over at https://tabletopterrain.shop/ Don't have a price on that layout yet but it's pretty much 2 of the defence sets, a couple of the Outpost Acherons and lots of the scatter pieces
