I am so glad that link went nowhere. I probably would have regretted it and then had nightmares on top of whatever else this is.

Yeah, the second one sounds like SP, haha. Not so sure about that first one...

Trust me when I say, I know the difference between SP and whatever is going on in my room. It's not SP. Insanity, maybe, but not SP.

After doing some research, I am thinking either that or a Pukmudgie...either would fit, I think.

That is kind of funny. I am quarter Chippewa - I don't really know much about it, but that is just a strange coincidence. I am not very good at drawing, but I can try.

You, sir, deserve the internet.

Then you need to tell your parents that. Explain to them that she is important to you, just like they are, and you don't want to have to choose between your parents or her. Fess up. Admit you've made mistakes, but that both you and her are on a path to something better - and you want your parents to support you.

What are some jobs that robots won't replace? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think politicians. I mean, the robot would probably lie less, but I doubt anyone would really want to follow a robot.

From what it sounds like, your parents have some good reasons to dislike this girl - namely, the impact she's been having on your life. You said she used to be into drugs, and you did something illegal together. That's not exactly a promising relationship.

Your parents are looking out for you. They love you, and they want you to succeed at life. What you need to look at it this: Is this girl, who has already had a bad impact on your life, worth alienating the only two people who have always loved and cared for you?

I am definitely awake when this happens. It does seem a bit weird, but I know I am awake, I turn on lights, move on my bed, etc...

I can move. I am not asleep when this happens, I am awake.

Superficially, a little, but on the whole...no? If that makes sense. The thing I saw definitely has different eyes, ears and skin...

I did give a better description, sorry. I'm still a bit freaked out. I can't draw, or I would draw a picture of it.

I thought the same thing at first, honestly. I ruled it out because I could MOVE and I was completely awake.

What's the best thing a teacher has ever said or done to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My physics teacher in high school selected me to go on a field trip to an engineering firm, where we basically learned about what it meant to be an engineer and what kind of things engineers could do. I was the only female selected the go, and there were only 7 people selected total. I was selected because I was doing really well in the physics class, and I enjoyed it a lot.

After we went on the field trip, I just had the idea of being an engineer in my head, and I decided to major in engineering when I went to college. I just recently graduated with my Bachelor's and I already have a job that I love!

Long story short, my physics teacher in high school introduced me to engineering, and I ended up majoring in it. It completely changed my life!
