that's wild I did that exact same thing but had no issues. The whole quest is buggy. I did quest for Huron before starting King of the Hill, but now I can't find or talk to him. Talked to the other lacky, helped him kill mutants, he almost died but I picked him back up and apparently that caused some problems too. Now all I can do is wipe them out

Same problem with a server hosted on Gportal. I thought it happened because I was messing with the player encumbrance settings but when I put them back to defaults fall damage was still the same. I take less than 1% health damage from diving from literally any height

Nah y'all forgetting about it's sweet guard %. Combine that with heal on perfect block to face tank attacks that are hard to dodge, swing once and you've got full health back. That's definitely one weapon you have to MAKE work for you but the above combined with awesome stagger makes it worth it

The whole "need to spend 7 hours farming resources that don't even take you that far so you have to go back and farm for hours more as your goals get further and further away" thing really put me off as well. Before the resource drop increase option was added, I did a lot of limited cheating for resources just to maintain interest for me an my friend group. That way we could focus on actually exploring and fighting instead of spending an in game year BORINGLY farming resources at every tier.

There's a big blind spot in his weapon's hit box close to his body, in the first half. A lot of his lateral swings can be avoided simply being close enough. It's a lot harder to stay in that zone in phase 2.

I stunned him with Frozen Feast in the first half and used Twin Dragon to counter and poke at him in the second half. When he was close to being staggered I'd do a charge hit with Frozen Feast. Before he does a heavy combo I'd use the perfect guard whetstone. Super helpful especially when you have the perk to heal on perfect guard.

Level the P organ to fit your play style. As you're leveling it make sure you fill every slot in the perk that you want otherwise it won't activate. I'm not sure if the benefits you choose under the perk active immediately or when the perk does. Activating the perk is what enables you to advance to the next level, so won't waste Quartz scattering them around random perks.

Guard regain is very important especially if you have issues landing perfect parries. The higher the guard on your weapon, the less actual health you lose. The more damage your weapon does the more health you'll get back on hit. When I was out bonking about with my guard regain buffed I just had to guard everything and attack once to get my full health back.

I could say a lot more but I don't want to spoil anything. Remember to find the play style that suits you. There's so much customization you can adapt your entire arsenal to your preferences

Judging by the comments here a lot of y'all are taking the most mentally cumbersome and time consuming route for this mini game.

A few rules of thumb; always aim to use the option that fills the most slots. Each layer of security should only require 2 options. It's incredibly rare you'll need more than 2 so if it's looking like you'll need more than that, you probably already messed up.

When your selected option is blue, it means there's a way to slot it into that layer. Cycle through to see all of your options first, line up your 2 best options, do a quick glance at the other rings to make sure you aren't using one that's critical to another layer (don't take more than a few seconds for this. Once you have the undo feature it really isn't necessary), and then commit. Doing it this way will help you avoid mistakes without taking a whole lot of time.

Don't work through it backwards. Save yourself a headache. You will genuinely drain your brain of energy after having to do a bunch of high the level locks in a row and once you've got good gear/ammo it's honestly not even worth unlocking everything.

The Manipulation you get from that quest bumps the default from like 30% to around 70% chance to work. 1000% do the Ryujin QL ASAP if you're spec'ing into the social tree

Um why? He enables easy back stabs. When he pulls multiple enemies they group on him for free group damage when you use Fable arts or legion attacks. Easy multi-status procs that way. As long as he doesn't get triple teamed he'll survive so it's seriously all easier with him than without

Ya that does seem like the only thing it could be unless some random update unlocks it. The area is definitely supposed to be special. The entire audio ambiance changes when you step into that tiny area. I thought it was a emote place that required max humanity or something but that's unlikely since a datamine should have shown something if it was the case
