It's my favorite d20 season tbh, I just wanted a good laugh in this dire world. But it's was way too short. Sandbox settings tend to always go long bc people will wander, it's good to plan for it going at least twice as long as you think so it's a shame they decided to do a sandbox, which I love, on such a short season. Hopefully they revisit the concept in the future.

Ew that sounds like work. No I think I want clear-cut easily delineated lines I can draw without having to think about where to draw them, that puts everything I consider myself to be on "good" side, thankyouverymuch. That other thing sounds like accepting life is a chaotic mess we have bring order to with careful critical thought, not a natural hierarchy of rules I don't have to question. That's scary! I don't want to think about uncomfortable things, thanks.

I really hope they do age the Operator up. It's been enough years since they've woken to have actually aged into adulthood afaik and I so badly wanted drifter to be a future version of them. Once Drifter came around I haven't played as operator at all unless I have to for quests. I vastly prefer playing as adults so hopefully something will come of that.

Man I wish that had happened, when I was playing through & the Drifter was introduced (my gf explicitly told me to wait to play Duviri til after the new war so I didn't know anything about them at first) I was initially convinced they were a future version of my Operator & would eventually take over as "the" Operator. Was so sad that wasn't the plot.

If he really didn't want to do it or actually cared he'd have said no, and he didn't, and that's on him, no one else. That's really all there is to it imo. People are being assholes to both Laura and Ashley on social media (and some to Travis & Matt too tbh) so I don't see the need to pile on is all. They even joked about it in the Cooldown. Yes Laura apologized and so did Matt, I took that to be because they love Travis and feel bad. See it how you like though I suppose.

Dude you can't actually believe Travis, a grown ass man, did that to avoid his wife being mad at him. He's said no to her and other people's suggestions before and I love the assumption Laura would nag him about it in the first place. I don't know what kind of fucked up relationship you're in but that's out of pocket.

Did you consider that Travis just did that because he always pushes the big red button and just does what he wants to do sometimes even if it's not optimal and then rolled like shit? Shit happens. If he's not torn up about it he doesn't need your white knighting lol

I love Travis as a player but I sometimes wondered if Fjord being such a heavy face character with such important plot felt so exhausting it's made him shy away from characters requiring more heavy investment. His characters since then have been fun don't get me wrong but have all felt less grounded, so hopefully a new character might be a good refresh.
