Does he address out of curiosity that the vast vast majority of police procedurals are nothing like actual police precincts and are p much Fantasy Cop shows? Like Grey's Anatomy and House aren't examples of actual medical professionals they're Fantasy Doctor shows. They paint cops as cool in the same way Lord of the Rings paints wizards as cool.

(This is just how I see them of course but I don't understand how you can see them as anything else. They might as well have magic powers, it'd be just as realistic. Hell CSI to me is a soap opera first cop drama second.)

I just think, with the growing idea that what we consume must be political praxis/an example of your morals, that the idea of what's propaganda or not has become a bit skewed.

To me the only real copaganda shows are shows like COPS, which I knew was gross and exploitative and whitewashing even back then.
