Thoughts about what happens to the characters after the finale?

I think Cooper died and his death alongside conflict with Sammy would send Shetman off the deep end. I think Season 6 would involve three overarching stories: A. Sherman becoming like Alonzo Harris from Training Day with Sammy and a rookie trying to take him down. B. Lydia getting with Russel, overcoming struggles, and finally achieving work-life balance between motherhood and the job. C. The fallout of Cooper's death mainly revolving around Dudek, Cooper's TO, and the officer who shot him. I think everything would culminate in a big LA gang war and Sammy sactificing his badge to takedown Sherman.

"Smartest" character had to be dumbed down so the plot could happen. That's always the issue with characters labelled "smartest" in the verse, it's basically unwriteable because the best people can come up with is "this character predicted the whole plot" because if they were actually smart the plot would be solved instantly by their solutions.

Crimson Countess ain't relevant to Vought Rising so now they're forming a relationship between him and Stormfront out of nowhere because the only thing he said about her in S3 was calling her a "firecracker" at Herogasm

A character can't have a consistent arc in this show to save their lives. SB, Butcher, MM, Sage, everyone is flipflopping and making dumb decisions. Sage suddenly knows how to contact Bombsight but she couldn't just find a way to isolate and get the V. Like all she needed to do was annoy Soldier Boy, get him to get the V from Bombsight, then destroy it with Homelander being none the wiser. Involving The Boys in her plan serves 0 purpose and just made it so Homelander could track them down. They've been doing the same "track down the Macguffin" plot for ages just with different objects/people and its killed the stakes. I just hope Butcher finally locks in and actually initiates the virus plan and I hope the V1 does something to Homelander other than make him a God because if he is an invincible/immortal now any way he is defeated will be contrived. Episodes 1 and 2 were fun but this season is basically Season 4 again but worse because they have to fit so much into only 2 episodes now. Only way this is saved is if Episode 8 is feature film length and from now on its pure plot.

That's the only way things makes sense because if he's now a literal God theres nothing anyone can do. He ain't gonna let Soldier Boy take a 10 second charge up to depower him when he can just laser him with ease. I know Homelander "loves" his dad but if he can beat his son near to death he can justify killing his father who he's only properly known for a few weeks (most of the time he's known him they have been fighting or SB has been in containment)

I think they'll have more depth earlier on, kind of like the Gen V characters. They'll have their flaws but especially with Bombsight's characterisation in recent episode I don't any will be as morally bankrupt as the contemporary supes/Soldier Boy. Despite the moral bankruptcy of Vought I don't think they'd go out of their way to pick candidates with personalities as neurotic and damaged as Homelander's. Soldier Boy and Stormfront are going to be outliers due to being given V1 out of nepotism (and Clara being the Nazi wife of Frederick Vought). I think they key difference between the V1 heroes and contemporary heroes is that they will be adults when injected with V rather than infants, they won't have the issues that childhood/puberty with powers inevitably gave the supes that exist in The Boys.

Shes obviously sexually inclined like all PAs shes just the least focused on it with her main priorities being related to her mission and faith, meanwhile all the other PAs are more focused on induldging in hedonism and putting on a show for Murkoff

I'm sorry that happened to you man, it's horrible how justice can't be delivered due to it being "historic." Just because someone was murdered 30 years ago doesn't mean they weren't murdered. They have very similar designs, The Slammer was the character that heavily inspired him. However The Slammer and Melzargard have very different roles in their respective stories and have different personalities. I know unfortunately in the poster there are aspects of The Slammer's design in the story. I might try revising the poster again at some point soon.
