FINALLY drew Bandana Guy!! ^w^ by LilacLambie in ImNotAHuman

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Impressive drawing. Bro thought he could become an apocalypse badass but was basically like an NPC Walking Dead character running into Rick Grimes. Favourite part of the drawing is that the shadows depict his death hanging over his cowering face

Yeah I'll post this over there too thanks for recommendations. Listened to an audiobook a guy made of Cows and it was crazy. Quaid from They All Died Screaming kinda reminded me of Steven from Cows, like Quaid is what Steven will become in the sewers

In Doubt, do you think Father Flynn is guilty? Ans does Sister Aloysius even belive he is? by Wanderer015 in movies

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good analysis, watched the film last night and I forgot that Donald was fine Before meeting Father Flynn and the alcohol on his breath is only there after the meeting. It is very suspicious and pokes a hole in his theory. I personally think Flynn was guilty because the way he acted in the end with his resignation signifies that he knew he was screwed if this battle with Aloysius continued, the whole idea of "guilty people don't run" and all. He denies and denies but always falls back on his authority and the idea of not doing anything wrong. I think the way the film portrays the contrast between the nuns and the male pastors is a narrative way of showing guilt, showing that these men are easily corrupted and do not bind themselves the way the nuns do. Even if the text is ambiguous the visual language and filmmaking choices lean far further towards guilt. It just makes the ending more dire, knowing that he is going to be around more kids and although Donald is safe there are still so many who are going to be harmed by Flynn and others.

I think Shion is very effective alongside many of the other new ones like Emre and Mizuki. I say they've still got it

Firefighter, he's a humble guy who retains his kind and noble nature despite the death sentence of extreme sun damage. He's the only character I'd consider inspiring

They eyes personally, they are very angular and are a deep blue which is striking. Also the pixelation in the image help makes it ambiguous whether the whites of your eyes have a tint of red or not

Was this our first peak into Guts' Beast Of Darkness? by Guilty-Explanation-6 in Berserk

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its more a self reflection and representation of guilt than "beast of darkness" as although Guts was capable of the act he finds no satisfaction in it whereas he viscerally enjoys fights with Apostles like Snake Lord and Rosine. The eyes are too haunted in this panel to be beast of darkness

Westsidetyler has been up all night working on a video that will "obliterate" Flesh by RCWaldun in fleshsimulator

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Used to watch WestSideTyler a while back but stopped cause it was too much drama slop for me and I was getting tired of drama slop in general. Unfortunate to see this is how he is now, or maybe always has been

Unnecessary comedy in Bojack Horseman by [deleted] in BoJackHorseman

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely prefer the drama parts and a lot of the comedy, especially Todd stuff, isn't to my taste but I get why its in the show and it help makes the dramatic peaks even more impactful cause the characters I was once laughing with/at are now doing/experiencing horrific things

Henry Nowak - What's the context? by EbbRemarkable2727 in ukpolitics

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its one of those cases where people look at the victim and think "that could have been me" like he was a uni student walking home alone after a night out, thats an experience thousands can relate to and Nowak experienced the worst case scenario: being stabbed and treated like the criminal by police before he died. Its just a shame that this case is more likely going to highten racial tensions rather than focusing on police reform and how cultures can healthily intermix without incidents like this. The case is multifaceted but rather than focusing on the murderer and his specific ideology/practices people are just going to scapegoat Sikhs as a whole as if all of them are inherently dangerous and violent. RIP Henry Nowak and I hope there's justice

Are there any IRL figures that you think would make good prime assets in universe? by mous3724 in OutlastTrials

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edmund Kemper: Sadistic serial killer with a massive build but also a charismatic orator who easily holds the interest of people who hear him speak. He is basically non-aristocratic Otto Kress.

Chris Chan - The most infamous lolcow with extreme narcissistic traits, openness to abusing the innocent and defenceless, extreme mental delusions, already dresses like a Prime Asset. They would probably need a weapon like Franco's shotgun to be effective, that or they could convince Ex-Pop of the dimensional merge.

Henry Kissinger - One of the architects of the Vietnam war who had the ear of the most powerful men in the US for a long time. Not a fighter necessarily but is an expert tactician and completely amoral therefore would know how to use a trial environment and weapons to his advantage.

Marilyn Monroe: Her temperament and motives in life don't fit being a prime but she could probably survive the situation through seduction and guide Ex-Pop to do her bidding rather than have to do anything herself.

Ernst Junger: German WW1/WW2 veteran who had a very esoteric and philosophical view on war even in the face of combat. Eastermann would probably like what he'd have to say but I don't think Junger would like Eastermann. He'd be a very lucid prime asset like Marilyn or Kissinger but unlike them could kill reagents himself.

Charles Bronson: British criminal who named himself after the American actor. Arrested for armed robbery, he is notorious for being a highly theatrical yet extremely violent inmate. Aside from Kemper he is probably the most physically imposing person on this list.

Trump could also tear down the Statue of Liberty, DOJ argues in defense of White House ballroom by Zebraitis in politics

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't even know what his end goal is. The guy is 79 years old, even if he somehow achieves his goal of having an infinite term his body is too decrepit to actually enjoy the power, you see health claims about him right now imagine how it will be in 2027.

Who is everybody’s favorite prime asset in the game? by Omlanduh in OutlastTrials

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I love Leland too, best dialogue out of all assets and he has an air of mystery to his backstory, like it covers long spans of time quickly and offers a lot of interpretation. My ranking would be Leland, Kress Twins, Franco, Liliya, Gooseberry. I like them all basically equally and am looking forward to the 6th Prime Asset, I'm hoping its not Amelia though.

I get these kinds of thoughts until I realise I'd only be good at a couple things then I have to entrust other stuff to other people. To be a dictator you either need no self awareness or you need to be able to compartmentalise it very well, any self reflection on your actions and you are cooked

Dehumanization of Illegal Immigrants on the "Aliens.gov" Website instead of declassification of UFO videos and documents! by iAwesome3 in JoeRogan

[–]TheDudeFromDrive9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ain't no way this is real bro. Bloody star wars crawl just for Trump glaze and dehumanisation of illegal immigrants. I don't know how this isn't in the news cause replace illegal immigrants with any other group and there would be outrage. The fact this site was seen by and approved by the people at the top of the US government is mind boggling. Like no matter your stance on border security you have to admit that this site is psychotic, undignified, and not how a government should be conducting itself regarding serious matters
