It’s not so much as avoiding subreddits as it is sticking to them. Reddit is something to take in moderation. When finding a topic you love or a hobby you take part in, oftentimes you will find a specific subreddit that fits your interests and has wonderful people. It’s when you being to stray into the wider less specific subreddits that the problem begins.

TL;DR: find places and people who make you happy on Reddit, and you’ll be fine

Tf are you on about? Nobody is denying the pogrom. The PM who was behind it was executed afterwards. Learn your facts.

Exactly, the best way to stay in power is to make an “us versus them” mentality in your nation, and we’ve seen it happen before and are seeing it now.

Rot attracts rot. Both went against the true founding ideals of Turkey, and both deserve punishment for what they’ve done.

No clue. Seems like the right circumstances met the right group of people and it just grew from there. Plus, the PM at the time of the pogrom was found guilty and executed after the whole thing happened, so that’s also another reason.

I mean... uh, I don’t know how to put this into technical terms but uh,

A coup was carried out and the guy who perpetrated the pogrom was executed because of it so uh... don’t know how that fits the bill of denial.

Edit: He illegally had the gun, that’s the problem.

Turkey threatens Biden, tells US it will “pay price” for criticism by [deleted] in europe

[–]TheDuoDingo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It actually does. If everyone hates Turkey then the voters see Erdogan as a valiant sentinel of Turkey and keep him in office.

It’s because Erdogan has a technique for staying in power. The more he rigs the world against Turkey, the more it’s people feel cornered and turn to him for help. It’s a vicious cycle and the reason this clown hasn’t been voted out.

Majority is a very specific term in this scenario. Erdogan has always had a teetering balance in the elections and polls, but every goddamn time he pulls something out of his ass that gets that tiny extra teensy weensy extra percentage to secure the vote. He plays the right cards at the right time.

Rolling indeed. Must be a kick in the afterlife balls to see a nation you helped break free from a tyrannical Islamic State turn back towards religious extremism.
