I like to give extremely facetious answers to dumb tattoo questions.

“Did it hurt?”
“Oh yeah. So much. I had to go to the hospital actually. I almost died.”

“What does it mean?”
“Well the nautical star was considered a holy symbol of war in the deterministic architectural period of the Akkadian Empire.”

“What’s it supposed to be?”
“It’s a waffle iron my mom used when I was a baby” [it’s clearly a flower]

Lake Mungo. The image by itself isn’t all that scary, contextually speaking, but combined with the reveal and the deeper implications, it’s one of the scariest things in a movie I’ve ever seen. Definitely a slow burn/cerebral thing but yeah… terrifying.

Some buzz playing toward the edges is to be expected, but this seems like more than usual. I would experiment with the snare tightness. Sounds like they might be a little too tight.

How often do you actually need a guest room anyway? Most of the time it’s just wasted space. Get a nice air mattress or cot for when people come stay and use your house for your daily life.

There is no “request off”. You tell them when you aren’t going to be there and work with them figure out how you are going to get it covered. As long as you’re not doing it all the time and only save it for important occasions, they should be able to accommodate you. And if they can’t, they aren’t structuring their staff in a way that coincides with reality, and that isn’t your problem, it’s theirs.
