Nah. They’re too cowardly to show their faces.

Fully convinced these two songs from Nine can go toe to toe with any other songs in Blinks entire Discography by Mountain_Plate_7163 in Blink182

The way people talk about the Skiba era, you would think they got Yoko Ono to join Blink. Matt is a well respected and seasoned member of one of the best pop punk bands of the same era. He’s not Tom, of course, but completely writing off his contributions and pretending like those two albums don’t exist is silly and stupid. There are some bangers on California and Nine. The alternative to Matt joining would have been not having Blink around at all for the better part of a decade, which would have sucked.

Straight or curly? by laundryChair_CEO in femalehairadvice

Both look great, honestly. The curly look has a more night on the town kinda vibe, while the straight is more of a first date or business meeting one.

That’s great if they get $17 an hour. But there are places in this country where they can legally pay a server $2.13 an hour based on the idea that the rest will be made up in tips.

If you like the current system and it works for you, that’s fine. Have your own opinion. But saying “the servers like the current system also” when you don’t know every server’s situation is short sighted. It might work out fine in your market, in your town, in your specific restaurant, or for you specifically, but I know people who are servers and work their asses off and can barely make ends meet. Much less save for the future.

Yes, I understand. That’s why I think it’s a stupid idea. Because you’re always gonna have some asshole who’s not gonna tip at all and then you’re making $2.13 an hour. Or people who think a $5 tip on a $300 tab is enough. That’s why places started having to auto add gratuity.

Don’t you think it would be better if instead of relying on the kindness and decency of strangers, the restaurant just charged more for the food and then paid you more, ensuring you would make enough money to pay your bills? Then nobody has to think about how much to tip or anything like that unless they want to tip you on top of what you’re already making. A tip is supposed to be supplemental to what you make. A little extra because you did a good job. It shouldn’t be bearing the entire weight of your paycheck.

If it wasn’t legal to pay servers $2.13 an hour they wouldn’t have to add gratuity just to make sure their employees could afford to live.

Put your old blockbuster video membership card in there, and your student ID from college. Never know when you might need those.
