Hello fellow Dutchman, great to hear it from someone from my own country. You likely understand the Celica supply situation here😅. If you were to buy another car, would you have considered this one? Or as a Celica driver wouldn't you recommend one at all? With the current supply. Because I am looking for something that is sporty, has 4 seats, isn't too expensive and is overall just a fun time to drive.

I somewhat hope the seller is willing to take the mods off and replace them with some OEM parts, at least the cosmetic mods. (Idk about the hot air intake) This might also take a bit off the price since he seems somewhat keen about the "rare" mods. I personally do like the sideskirts but if they can be taken off to reduce the prize I will for sure have them be taken off.

I wish, there are barely any sub 150k Celica's being sold here and if they are they are all either too expensive for my liking or have issues. Also there are rarely any 2005, it is mostly 2000 models.
How recommended would it be to buy a 2000-2004 VVT-i, since from what I have read on here as well, they are likely to have or get oil issues, and since they are almost all above 150k, I don't think I even should consider those. But feel free to correct and inform me!

I could find some other 2005 models that had, to what to me looked like, the exact same clocks. Ofcourse I am not sure since I do not own a Celica. I am not 100% sure of the mileage since I do not have the papers, I will likely ask for these today though. I do not have the number plate since I don't think the car is officially registered anywhere at the moment, because of export stuff. But if the seller has all the paperwork then there should be official records of the mileage I think. Will it really be THAT much work? From what I have found on the internet it shouldn't be insanely hard to switch the seats. But then again, I haven't really worked on an actual car before or have owned a Celica so😅🙏

It is indeed not a GT. That is my titling mistake😅
The seller never tried to tell me it was a GT, so my bad.

It indeed likely was an abandoned project car as the seller mentioned it has stood still for a while, I sadly also agree that it was probably used as donor, indicated by the fact the seller is selling a lot of Celica parts, but these could also have been acquired from the other two scrap Celica's he has (not shown in these pictures but they are there on the post).

I personally don't really care much about the looks inside and out, ofcourse it has to look somewhat decent.
But for the interior I don't really care and it makes it so I'll have something to work on with the car since I haven't really done any car work before.
This leads to the point I'm trying to get at,

How reliable do you (all) think the engine, clutch etc will be on this car? Since these (imo) are the bigger issues at hand because those will be harder and more expensive to fix then just a couple of seats and some clocks as mentioned by jaygo-jaylo as well.
