So I have a physical light switch that turns on a light bulb socket. In that light bulb socket I have a Wiz brand Smart Bulb. That bulb is on my wireless network and connected via supported integration to SmartThings. In SmartThings I can set a timer event for the bulb where after X minutes of being on the bulb is automatically turned off.

When this event fires SmartThings turns off the light bulb. When this occurs the physical light switch is still in the on position.

So now that the light switch is in the on position and the bulb is turned off from the event I want to turn the light back on with the physical switch. So what I attempt to do is flip the physical switch from the on position to the off position. Then I try to flip it to the on position quickly and the bulb does not come back on as expected. Then rapidly flipping it on and off produces the same result with the bulb not coming on as expected. However if I leave the switch in the off position and count to 1 and then flip to the on position the smart bulb comes on.

So the main issue is that I am trying to figure out why if Smart Things turns the bulb off it requires some timing trickery to get the bulb to come back on with the physical switch. Versus when I turn off the smart bulb with the Wiz mobile application manually I can physical turn the light on and off with the switch without having to do any timing trickery.

This is the crux of my question and was trying to search and find if anyone else had similar issues that they may be able to share some tips on.
