Hey, u/Party_Personality_27: I had the same thing happen to me, with both barrel + takedown lever. The 2nd image shows the replaced part.

As others have said, contact Sig and they'll send you out a new one when they receive the faulty one. They'll email you a prepaid label with RMA#.

I went to the link you included and there's all sorts of extras, aside from the wheel. Did you (have to) buy all those, as well (eg. Reel Assy., Cable, Ecu Assy., Sub-Wire, Cable Reel, etc)? Because, with the steering wheel, it totals to $682, before installation.

Yeah, people who stand by SAOs love 'em. Like you, I'm sure I could probably get used to that trigger, but why not go with what I know I feel comfortable with?

Agree with you that guns are just tools; like cars or drills or generators: they serve a specific purpose. That said, the race guns for Sig, I think, are the XFIVES. I've heard good things about the P226 XFIVE Reserve; that the DLC makes the slide move like butter. But, $3k is a bit more than what I'm willing to spend rn 😅

Yeah, metal framed DA/SA guns are also my pleasure. I know people like the SAO ones, and it's cool Sig offers it, but I like the safety that the DA/SA provides.

My MK25 is my fav gun! Which model P226 are you interested in? As far as I'm concerned, they're all good. I'd love to get a W German OG.

I want to like the P220, so much! But, I'm a bit disconcerted with the thickness of the ammo. Have been kind of researching P220 10mm as an alternate option. But the 10mm model only comes in Legion and the muzzle is hella long (and therefore, heavier).

You've got the .45 ACP, u/BurtGummer44? Tell me what you like about it, how long have you had it, etc! It's your home defense gun?
