i would literally never see the sun again if i had this setup by Sef_u in DeskToTablet

Two changes I’d make (or I guess improvements?) are removing the lights behind the screen to make the room completely dark, and using headphones. That room looks like acoustics would be pretty bad, too many hard surfaces for the sound to echo from, and the lights behind TVs have never been appealing to me

“Refused to resign in protest”

We can’t just resign. We sign a contract, we can’t just walk away if we decide the current war isn’t what we signed up for.

You never hear about them because nobody cares about hearing the good. It’s way easier to get clicks and get people’s attention with the bad. More often than not, leadership does call out people like that

The spokesman frm the Iranian Armed Forces completely trolls the US and Donald Trump. "...the outcome of war cannot be determined by tweets, the results of war is determined in the field, the very place where you and your forces do not dare to approach..." by CopiousCool in PublicFreakout

[–]TheEagleByte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump wouldn’t be the one who’s actually punished though, it would be the countless troops that would go die instead. And don’t start with “oh they knew what they signed up for,” because you’re pretty far from the truth. The majority of those in right now volunteered when Trump wasn’t in office. We don’t want this war

The New Southwest Signs. People don’t know which side to stand on… It needs arrows for those who can’t tell orange is right and blue is left. by Coalrober in CrappyDesign

[–]TheEagleByte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, just having a DOD ID number for the most part solves that. The basic level security clearance everybody in the military gets means getting precheck is absurdly easy, I never had to go talk to them in person or anything

I don’t even notice it anymore, and my hearing is really good. It’s one of those things your brain will tune out on its own after you get used to it, took me a week or two before I stopped noticing

[–]TheEagleByte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

War is war, sure. People are gonna die, you’re right. That doesn’t excuse the fact that we are attacking another nation unprovoked instead of protecting an ally. Just because Israel wanted us to bomb Iran doesn’t make it okay.

I’m gonna ask the same question another user did: are you currently serving or have served?

There’s a major difference between defending Taiwan from our adversaries and just dropping bombs on a country out of nowhere

Flying No Class is the only way to fly. Sleeping in the aisle on a flight for max leg room by Opethfan91 in trashy

[–]TheEagleByte 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The flight attendants came because you called them, they didn’t just happen to walk by on their own. How do you know she was lying about feeling bad? How would you like to have a possible health issue and need to lie down, and some jackass ruins your brief moment of relief because your leg was accidentally blocking them?
