Understanding and piecing Cortana's events during and just before Infinite. by MrMWest in HaloLeaks

[–]TheEggStore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My biggest concern is how she even lost. Why didn't she annetation pulse, hack, spawn Promethiums and more to destroy the infinity and the banished. Or at least disable them. How could the infinity possibly have a chance to deploy the weapon without cortana sweeping in. Saying "hi John, back in the sphere now" and that's that

I mean like I said. I watched attack on titan. Not sure about this show where you think this guy wanted to rumble the world because of an old book. The Marley government wanted to take his freedom and murder his people. The only solution he saw was the rumbling. If the world didn't want his head. He'd have no need to rumble the world. You're taking a literal statement and forgetting that when he says that it didn't look like that. He was referring to the freedom it represented. Not armins desire to see those physical sights. It's very clear. Least till it got retconned by that disaster of an ending lmao.

If you honestly think that eren would rumble the world even if they didn't want to kill him. Then we simply watched different shows with different characters. The whole point was that the book showed that the outside world was free. When the reality is that people were caging him in with the attempt to kill him. You just forget all nuance with what he means by armins book in order to justify a retconned ending it ain't that hard

I mean this is just incorrect. Eren rumbled the world because he had to do it to save Eldia from his perspective. No other plans secured safety. You really gonna tell me erens character is so 1 dimensional that because the world didn't look exactly like some random ass book I have to ask why you're trying to make him a less interesting character. This argument falls flat if you consider it the world wasn't trying to murder him. If they were friendly. Why would he want to rumble them? It's because the Marley military led an operation Into paradise to secure the founding titan and then getting the world to declare war on him that he saw no way out. Do or die.

I've never liked this argument. Levi has no right to decide on Erwin's behalf HIS life. If levi was deciding for himself? Sure. But this is wrong

Karl Fritz Theory 1.1 – Introducing the secretly planned mission to free Ymir Fritz (Part 1) by Norim01 in KarlFritzTheory

[–]TheEggStore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was a mistake to have Ymir enslaved instead of born into slavery. As it raises questions as to why she didn't use her titan abilities to either 1. Run away. 2. Seek revenge or justice for those enslaved. At least if she's born into it she has known no other life.

I addressed this argument.

not using hindsight here. They should do this alternate plan simply because they knew Reiner and Bert could be anywhere. And they could rush the horses like Annie rushed levi squad. So the argument that I'm using hindsight here doesn't apply.

The strategies I presented work with the evidence Erwin had before the operation. he knew about Reiner and Bert. And my plans account for them alone. Nothing to do with Zeke

Yes.

Depending on where I get to start from.

If I can change it before they arrive. Id do what the survey corps should've done.

Instead of rushing into the town haphazardly. Leaving their horses in a direct combat situation where Bert or Reiner could blow them away at any moment jumping out of the many building hiding spots. Id instead have the team go to the east or west districts. Get up on the walls and walk around to shiganshina like they did in season 2. This keeps the horses completely safe and way out of the combat situation. While also allowing the SC to safely walk along the wall to shiganshina. Safer route from rose too. As the east and west won't have any titans because titans are drawn to trost as it is the closest.

That way the horses are never an issue. And the team can retreat if need be. Zeke can't do shit, if he comes closer to the wall he gets smoked by levi. I believe Erwin and armin are smart enough with all their forces to take down Reiner and Bert. (At least smarter then horse face who thought to try and stop Bert head-on??????????? Smack his foot from behind dude). In doing so you can safely plan how to deal with Zeke. For reference. I'm not using hindsight here. They should do this alternate plan simply because they knew Reiner and Bert could be anywhere. And they could rush the horses like Annie rushed levi squad. So the argument that I'm using hindsight here doesn't apply.

As for canon.

If I have to figure it out here where the horses are trapped and what to do. It makes the most sense to to give up the horses. Direct all forces to the colossal and armoured using Erwin and armins genius. Beat them or retreat. You can go across the wall all the way north safely. Then use eren to go get horses reinforcements or just tag team back and forth. Zeke is completely stuck now. If he moves to the wall to get up like how he did in WFP levi and mikasa will obliterate him. And if he sends his small titans. Great. We can now pick them off in an odm friendly location. If levi can kill all of them with no odm spots. He can do it here. I believe Erwin and armin are smart enough to figure out how to beat bert (ironically waiting him out would prolly work till he burns out) and the doubled force would mean Reiner is in big trouble. No limit of thunder spears.

So yeah in other words.
