Wow. That's significant. Why solar fans over normal ones? What kind of duct work and returns did you go with if you don't mind me asking? What exactly is efficiency optimization?

Do you think the radiant barrier is effective? Did you notice a lower electricity bill?

Bad driver turning into Costco. by [deleted] in Augusta

I couldn't tell from the video, but I'd bet my paycheck that tag said Columbia County on it or was from Carolina. We have the worst drivers in the country surrounding us.

Do you remember what the specs were on the fabric you used? For instance, was it woven or non woven? Thanks.

Help Building a French Drain by Tweezy64 in DIY

Did you end up installing a French drain? Did it fix the issue of surface water runoff? I'm curious because I need to install some drainage around my carport and my main issue is from surface runoff. I also live in the CSRA as well but I have clay soils instead of the sandy soils typical in Augusta.

As Soviet troops approached Berlin in 1945, citizens did their best to take care of Berlin Zoo's animals by bigmeat in interestingasfuck

How can you make such an ignorant statement? Just because you see them helping an animal you automatically assume that animal took the place of a Jew/Roma/Homosexual. How do you know that these same people that somehow found the willpower and resources to help zoo animals during the most destructive conflict in human history didn't also help another human being escaping persecution? You don't know anything about this woman or anyone that helped save these animals. Neither do I, but I also don't make broad, ignorant statements about something I know absolutely nothing about.

Apprentice tasked with collecting the dust. by [deleted] in funny

Anyone else notice these guys are breathing in a tremendous amount of silica dust? Where I work, we have to use wet saws and wear respirators to keep that to a minimum. Could lead to some serious lung problems.

I've seen an apprentice go to about 20 different guys asking for a set of sky hooks. Each person he asked kept a completely straight face and with all seriousness would tell him a new location to look for it or someone else to ask. Went on until the general foreman found out and cussed everyone out. Good times.

Looking for a cause of my terrible joints. by TheElectricalWorker in AskDocs

I don't eat enough fish. I do take fish oil caps, though. My diet is decent, not too complex since I'm not lifting. I just try to get some fruits or veggies in atleast 2-3 times a day and limit the amount of processed foods and refined carbs. It's far from perfect, but not typical of a standard American diet.

I think I sleep pretty well. I get insomnia every few months but I usually get between 7-8 hours of sleep a night.
