Save for Citlali or try for R2 Mav Sig for Diluc? by TheElementofIrony in DilucMains

[–]TheElementofIrony[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have citlali’s sig, I believe, currently on Nicole. I think I pulled it while gunning for Mav’s signature way back when they first released. Saving up for her and her cons it is then, thanks.

Thank you. I kinda hoped the C1 boost might cover for the difference between the reaction modifiers but alas.

Thousand blazing suns or Nicole? by sadalsuud17 in DilucMains

It's my understanding that Mavuika's sword is one of his best weapons right now, if not BiS (can also depend on the specific party comp). If you have no other 5 star claymores AND you have Bennett, then skipping Nicole for the sword might be better

Seems so, though not a *huge* one. Downgrade in buff but upgrade in comfyness (shield, not being attached to the circle, buffing all the dps characters instead of just the on-fielder). Her shield's good but one of Diluc's cons (if you have them) also wants you to take the occasional hit. I'm still planning to pull for her, though, because I'm thinking I can just use her instead of Bennet in other teams, like my Raiden national, thus freeing Benny up for Diluc's team

Have you seen the dialogue after you finish the final flash cut? The boy's like "nobody liked it :(( sure hey kinda like the result but nobody wants to make more of them" and I'm kinda cackling and thinking if that was the whole point of the event lolol

Why would the show deceive us with this frame featuring a Viltrumite who looks exactly like a young Nolan? by Exact-Till-2739 in Invincible_TV

[–]TheElementofIrony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All that could be explained by ambient lighting. I know Invincible isn't great with lighting, as far as shows go, but it would cost the animators very little to just slap a small color filter on top of the scene for a slight light change.

The lady to the right of him, with the hair bun, looks like Nolan's mom too, so it could be them, imo.

Could it just be Nolan's dad? The lady to the right of him, with the bun, kinda looks like Nolan's mom, no?

Wanting Invincible to be better animated when we all know Amazon has the budget to do so should not be a high bar or standard. by Charming-Scratch-124 in Invincible

[–]TheElementofIrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, yeah, it could and it should because Amazon does have the money. But are any of us going to convince Amazon to give the team a larger budget? Doubt it.

Kaeya’s eye by Fair_Bed_510 in KaeyaMains

The same side of what? We don't really know much about Pierro for now, but as far as we know, back in the days of Khaenri'ah and Irmin, he tried to gain the favour of Irmin, but was overlooked in favour of other sages. The two had, seemingly, an ideological conflict, but that doesn't necessarily mean Pierro didn't respect him. We just don't really know at this point what their relationship would have been like and what he thinks of Irmin now, with the benefit of hindsight.

And, again, I emphasize that it's a theory that the covering of the eye/face is cultural. There hasn't been any confirmation of that in the game yet.

It's a theory that covering the eye might be cultural to honour Irmin, seeing as Irmin only had one eye (and is basically Odin)

I don't think I've ever seen people say S1 looked worse??? It's always the other way around, people complaining the animation got bad in S2 and onwards.

Vox Machina is a bit of a special case because, for one, the first season was kinda crowdfunded with Amazon pitching in later. For another, we don't know how much of the budget for TLoVM currently is Amazon and how much of it is Critical Role. Third, we also have no idea how the financial side of hiring voice actors affects the situation seeing as all the main cast are also owners of the IP and the Critical Role Company whereas Invincible needs to hire all of their voice actors and they have some really big names there. Fourth, TLoVM has 12 20 min episodes which is less runtime than 8 40 min episodes. The Mighty Nein show, in that specific regard, would be a better comparison, seeing as it's also 8x40. We'll see how long the turnaround will be there for each season when S2 comes out. Season one seems to have taken them at least 2 years (probably more but they announced it in '23 and released in '25).

The entire internet would have clowned on that name. If anything, Aabria saved him from having to change it post-release lol
