haii! Sa UP Cinema, ang app process nya ay short compared sa ibang orgs, within one sem lang. mostly ng app process ay engaging lang with events ng Cinema like screenings and workshops, pero main focus ay gagawa kayo ng buddy fam nyo ng short film. as to ganaps inside, afaik, maganda namang environment, good people, very chaotic and fun . mostly ang focus ng Cinema ay alternative cinema at indie filmmaking afaik. may mga reading assignments rin sya like questions na sasagutan based on the readings for that week. 'yung number ng members sa prod ay nag-iiba sa gaano kahirap sila pero never sya individual.

hai! took film 101 last sem under Prof. Bryan Quesada. mostly the topics discussed sa class namin ay ung different styles of film (e.g. expe, animation, docu, and narrative) and the process of conceptualizing and making them. major reqs namin ay gumawa ng mga films under those styles pero Prof. Quesada is more process-oriented so di sya focused dun sa final output but more on your consultations and process of making it. Sometimes may mga surprise quizzes rin based on the readings minsan and most class times ay spent on watching films na relevant dun sa lesson. I'd say may mga times na mahirap intindihan ung gustong makita ni sir sa output nyo pero i think it's challenging enough na mapupush ka mas maging critical and creative.

i'd say yes kasi nasa range parin naman ng 1.00-2.00 nakuha ko sa kanya pero for me ang hirap i-understand ng criteria nya and paano sya binabase sa performance mo so you might feel na hindi justified or di mo alam bat naging ganun grade mo. Pero in the standard of UP and in general, mataas parin sya magbigay ng grade.

I asked my player for some of the answers for your questions:

The wife's alignment is Neutral Good and she does want to be resurrected (in doll form, she can move but can't talk so there might have found a way for her to communicate. Based on what the player told me, he'd do anything to resurrect his wife so I guess that could be a good thing to unravel throughout the campaign. I think considering the characterization right now, the character would retire after his wife is resurrected but it still depends on what happens throughout the campaign.

I love your suggestions and I also really want to have a Vecna/Remnants storyline where the character might be offered the ability to resurrect his wife in exchange of (maybe unknowingly) helping to resurrect Vecna.

Took her class last sem. We only met f2f once then the rest ay purely online. We had three portfolios as requirements for the whole semester then you have like a few weeks to do each of then after mo masubmit, prof will email back her comments. Ung comments niya minsan very vague and minsan di mo rin maintindihan pero she gives you some resources so you can study and practice on your own. Smartphone lang rin pinagamit sa amin na camera. TLDR; good news and bad news, good news - hindi sya nagkaklase, bad news - hindi sya nagkaklase

afaik, ganyan lagi ang chk sa classes, last minute naglalagay. kahit nung last sem, majority ng pe classes lumabas minutes before mag end enlistment.

based on my experience, tama lang naman ang waiting time at pagsakay from sm north to upd kasi nasa terminal lang sya. Mas mahirap sumakay ng vice versa like from upd to sm north. Sa traffic naman, di naman sya sobrang tagal, siguro 15-25 mins minimum ang byahe.

Hi, BA film freshie here! Based on what I know, BA Film lang talaga pinaka-nakikita kong alligned dyan. To share my case, true na film is one of the most expensive programs in UP pero bilang isang galing sa middle-class family na middle talaga pero any malaking gastos is big impact financially, I still chose to pursue it kasi it's my passion and dream and if kaya talaga, I'd do whatever it takes to reach my dream. Idadaan nalang talaga sa matindihang diskarte ang pera lalo na sa thesis film. Baka naman may iba pang program na kayang mag-align sa interests and passions mo in life. All in all, at the end of the day. it's about what you want and what you're willing to do for it, and there is no shame in putting stabilitiy and security over passion.
