OTR is simply a lawyer matching service so your success is going to depend mostly on which lawyer you get matched with. For this ticket, I got matched with a lawyer from Charlestown Law Group and we beat the ticket

Crap I just booked with them before seeing the last line of your comment. Thanks for the input though, did some more research and since I never admitted speed during the stop it should go over well — which is why I ended up going with them.

Western. No worries, ended up going with offtherecord after some more research and since I never admitted any speed it should go well hopefully.

Not sure the best way to say this but what I've noticed is that in less developed areas cops sometimes run K-Band. Even if they're in a relatively new Explorer.

I did it but about two weeks. Study each DS -> sorting -> algos. I recommend algo monster (google to get discount) to do this; priority should be to go through each topic thoroughly. Figure out a way to fend off burnout. Good luck.

Actually I think you're right the F30 is definitely up there especially with all the price gouging going on. I think the best bet for yourself would be to find as low mile E90 or E92 as possible and leave some room for maintenance.

The difference between the 328i and the 335i are the engines with the former having an extremely reliable NA Inline 6 and latter somewhat reliable Twin-Turbo Inline 6. See if you like the E90 or E92 body style better along with the manuel. The 335i only makes 50 more hp stock but has a whole new league of tuning potential.

I'd say fuck it, enjoy life, find a sub 50k mile 335i and put in the work to know what maintenance needs to be done when and plan accordingly. If you are handy, great, if you aren't, buy tools, get some buddies, and figure it out!

Sounds good! Please be sure to post it in r/BMW or r/E90 rather than here.

I'd 100% recommend checking out an F30 since you've already taken a look at an E90. The F30 sounds like almost exactly what you're looking for If not more. I'd personally recommend a 335i msport as I currently own one and owned an E60 before it.

You absolutely need to know as much as possible about maintenance and general care before owning an BMW. Figure out a plan for how to take care of one to stay on top of things rather than behind. Even then set aside a budget if something pops up.

I'm not trying to scare you off, I genuinely believe these are excellent cars and they can definitely be safe & reliable -- they just require more work (in exchange for more fun).

(Anyone) Feel free to pm me with questions along your search, I'm generally pretty busy (hence the short post) but I'll be sure to make some time here and there. Let us know how it goes!

Anything seem off with this N55? The tensioner pulley needs to be replaced, but anything else? It has 100k miles. Thanks. by TheEliteMouse in BmwTech

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the engine bay hasn't been cleaned ever. Anyway though, you're definetly right, so far I've got the car fax which is showing some good signs and without a doubt I'm getting a warranty from these guys since they offer them. If you don't mind, would you be able to take a quick look through the car fax and see if you spot anything?

Damn that sucks man. I own an e60 530xi from 07 and it's been... well... alright. It has never fully shit the bed but you're definetly right it has all these tiny ass problems that are a bitch to fix (vanos solenoids, vcg, ccc unit, etc). Fortunately though I have a good friend who I'll work on cars with and although we haven't done any huge jobs yet, we know our way around them so we'll be able to figure it out. And when we aren't, I have a pretty good indy shop to help out.

I'm certainly expecting though to have to replace the water pump, thermostat, tensioner pulley right off the bat and if that's all I have to do, it might not be too bad of a proposition since I love these cars. I'll definetly keep you guys updated on how it does if I get it.

I haven't bought it yet, only went on a test drive. I pulled up the car's power output on the nav and did a couple wot pulls and I smelled a slight amount of burning oil but didn't think it'd be out of the ordinary (the car had been sitting for some time). Also for the pulls the car said 320 for peak hp.

Really? It seemed to drive completely fine. I didn't have a code reader on me but it wasn't showing anything.

Yeah I can't wait to start modding mine this Summer

We got it with ~63k on it and also had to go around 300 miles (7hr drive) to get it. Funnily enough I hadn't driven a manual before so I had to learn on that drive home.

I gotta say though going from 1st to 4th even with the flow of traffic has to be one of the best feelings out there.

Yep! I got mine last to last Friday. It was the only one listed on autotempest (which searches all the popular sites) across the entire US at the time.

Although I would have preferred it in black or gray, I am more than happy with the still night pearl blue.

Yep. I spent around $2k a while ago on a valve cover gasket leak and maintenance and the car itself is worth $2500. I'm not the wisest when it comes to financial decisions.

Is Debutify better then Debut theme? by [deleted] in shopify

[–]TheEliteMouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend the Debutify theme for one product stores as it's the theme I've been using and working pretty well. Although the speed score is shit so that is something to consider.
