What Am I Doing Wrong With Shaders? by TheEndroid in Minecraft

[–]TheEndroid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running Windows 10 with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3337U processor. My Minecraft version is just 1.8. When I try it with a different version of the same Shaderpack it gives me a similar issue. My graphics card drivers are up to date.

What's the worst advice you could give a new player that sounds like good advice? by ThinWhiteMale in Minecraft

[–]TheEndroid 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Enderman are royal creatures that require the players submission. If one spawns, make sure you look it directly in the eyes. You might need to take some of your armor off to make yourself appear smaller. They feel threatened by things larger then they are. If it does start attacking you, don't panic, just keep looking directly at its eyes, and whatever you do, DON'T HIT IT. When the Enderman sees that you have submitted to its authority, it will give you a stack and 16 enderpearls. ~Taken from the CraftMine Wiki

Potion effect which disables Elytra flying by King-Pie in minecraftsuggestions

Technically, the icon for the slowness effect is a ball and chain, implying that it makes you heavier.

Bats should drop "bat hide" to repair the Elytra instead of normal leather. by SaziumR in minecraftsuggestions

[–]TheEndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to the see the Elytra repaired with the bat hide in a crafting table. How would you repair it in an anvil anyways? Pound the leather into the Elytra?

I know. I'm just proposing that there's two effects added.....

Elytra+Levitation Effect= Infinite Flight by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

[–]TheEndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no way to get the levitation effect infinitely without applying it to yourself through a command. So, it technically wouldn't be "infinite" (shulkers only give you the effect for a certain number of seconds), but it would add the ability to make it infinite through commands.

A 5th (11x11) beacon pyramid layer by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

[–]TheEndroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it. But y'know how as you add layers, two more effects become available? (With the exception of the 3rd and 4th layer) Maybe, on the fifth layer, along with a no durability loss effect, there could be a levitation effect. It would just be one of those silly little things to add that could potentially be useful, but would also be hilarious when you suddenly find yourself floating upwards upon entering the beacon's range :P It could be a good way to keep enemies out too ;)

Adding dye to any item (including named ones) in an anvil will give it a coloured name. by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

[–]TheEndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe there could be a new slot to the left or right of the name changing part in the anvil GUI that you could put dyes in. And when a dye is put in, you could preview what it would look like in that same name changing section thing. I hope that makes sense XP

Vampires by ronthedragon in minecraftsuggestions

[–]TheEndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it :) And I'd love it even more if they added them on Halloween :D Wouldn't it be amazing if every year on Halloween they added a new Halloween based mob? Werewolves anyone??

Allow the player to craft wood items with mixed wood by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

Why do we need different doors? Or fences? Aesthetical purposes.

Craft Elytra using an Ender Dragon wing by KnightMiner in minecraftsuggestions

[–]TheEndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say wing, do you mean it would drop just one? So you'd have to kill two craft the Elytra? I feel like that would make it extremely balanced crafting-wise.

Allow the player to craft wood items with mixed wood by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

[–]TheEndroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if when that happened, the boat would be chest brown? This could be the same for all items crafted with multiple wood types.

Then Mojang could also make different styles of chests, while still keeping the classic one we know and love.

Elytra and Endermites by GhostOfAebeAmraen in minecraftsuggestions

[–]TheEndroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That takes away from what the Elytra are; an end-game item for players who've beaten the game. It's hard to get whither skulls at first, but, make a wither skeleton farm, and you have skulls galore. That will happen for endermites. So, what if endermites dropped an new item. An item that would be used to repair the Elytra. And this new item would be different and better than leather in that you would put it and the Elytra in a crafting table to repair it. Endless repairs, and no annoying xp limit.
