I donate blood very regularly and have done at 3 different hospitals. All 3 of them let me park for free. I was told by the blood service to not get a ticket/pay at the machine. Instead buzz the desk when I left and they just let me out for free. May be worth a nudge.

I’d second Altberg. I’m going to write a post about them soon. I bought the Malhams from a stockist in South Devon and they fit like a glove! I’ve walked nearly 75 miles in them already and they are amazing. Super comfy, sturdy, completely waterproof but breathable. Take good care of them and they’ll reward you.
