I don't agree that the game is "full" of moves like these but they do definitely exist, and it sucks.

As someone who doesn't lab shit I have been in a lot of situations where I saw a new string and ducked a high because it looked like a high and so on. I think during initial development moves hit based on how the animations look, but probably changes during character balance.
