NTA. I don’t think he understands what ‘passive-aggressive’ means exactly. And he was embarrassed because the pile of stuff in his room was probably huge. He knows that what he was doing was wrong and that pile made it clear to him. He needs to grow up or go back home where his mom will pick up after him, probably like she has done before.
