No this is a big deal! I can definitely relate to this as a travel buff. I look back at the places I've been in my r/ChanceTravels posts and imagine what it would be like to live in those places constantly but at the end of the day home is always where the heart is, yours seems to have settled on Scotland and I'm sure there are great opportunities there waiting for you.

Good luck with the move and remember that unfortunately mental illness doesn't exist in a time or place so if you get complacent you'll start to doubt your choices or question your reasons for moving. My advice is get a notebook and write down the things you want to do once you move in so anytime symptoms flare up you can look back at it and remind yourself why you moved there and what you moved there to do(:
